Sonic Potions LXR Drum Machine Digital Drum Synth

"The LXR Drum Synthesizer- this is a high quality fun and intuitive instrument. It was assembled professionally by a recommended "builder" and normally comes as a kit, this item includes the acrylic case and also a power supply. Im selling as I have chosen to make some space in my studio and also I am sticking with an all analogue set up for my electronic Synth experience, even though I have a great love of this Drum Machine. It is more than a drum machine and very capable of producing bass lines and melodic lines along side drum sounds. It comes with some WAV samples of drums that can be mixed in with the Digital sounds, these are accessed a flash drive built in and you can load your own samples. I suggest you look on youtube for video examples of the applications and versatility of this great product. It does have a great wiki manual available online, and it is also capable of driving other Midi devices. It also has 4 outputs opening up its sonic possibilities. It comes loaded wit some pre set kits that suit a range of electronic music, and these can be easily tweaked and saved as your own creations or you can make and save your own Kits and pre sets very quickly and easily.

The LXR is a full fledged digital drum machine with integrated sequencer.
Its sound engine provides 6 different instruments, each with over 30 parameters to tweak. It can produce a wide variety of sounds, ranging from classic analogue emulations to crunchy digital mayhem.

2. Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 1 - Leaving the Earth

"Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 1 - Leaving the Earth is a new weekly series of live studio recordings. Welcome aboard and let's start this Journey!

Using: Virus Ti2 in multimode (2 pads, 2 arps), OP-1 - pad, Eurorack mix: bass and FX, Circuit - drums, Radias - bass."

3. Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 2 - New Horizons

"Earth remains behind the Spaceship. It becomes smaller and smaller. New worlds, new horizons are waiting for us, the Space Pioneers... Episode 2 of this Journey starts with a System-1 pad, passed through MI Clouds. Bass sound comes from Z3000 mkII and SEM, lead from OP-1, pad from microKorg, arpeggiator from Ti2, FX - Radias and percution from Circuit."

4. Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 3 - A Lost Transmission

"You may know that saying with the Universe conspiring so the things to be as they're meant to be! The Planets lined up with this Episode, since my camera didn't want to record more than a few seconds and stopped (and I didn't noticed this), matching perfectly with the title of this Episode 3: A Lost Transmission!
This Episode starts with Yamaha Motif XS6, the workstation of a friend and most of the sounds you hear in the first part, are from it, sampled in Ableton. Part two continues with my usual gear plus Promars System-1 plug-out (seq), Arturia iSEM (bass seq) and Animoog (lead).

We're far away from Earth and some interferences, as you may see, are blocking our comunication to the Earth. Hoping that next days we'll be able to re-establish the connection! But, who knows... There are some clues that a mysterious ship is following us..."

5. Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 4 - Supernovae

"After the communications were re-established, we found out what causes the signal loss: a Supernovae chain effect, two sister stars exploded and generated some cosmic radiations. We are passing now near this area..."

6. Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 5 - Empty Space

"Featuring: Moog Model 15, Quadnic, Novation Circuit, Virus Ti2, Blofeld, microKorg, Radias, System-1 Promars.
Using a very nice FX patch on Model 15, created by my friend Tony Saunders (the creator of MidiSequencer iPad app)."

7. Journey to the Edge of the Universe - Ep. 6 - Radio Waves

"Coming back from a one week exhausting trip, The Journey to the Edge of the Universe continues with Ep. 6 based on OP-1 - radio, SoundScaper - drone, Quadnic-Braids-Tides-Clouds - drone and sequence, microKorg - lead, Virus Ti2 - pads, Circuit - drumbs, bass, sequence."

Future Sound Systems MX1 Eurorack Mixer Demonstration

Published on Jun 10, 2016 Future Sound Systems

"A short demonstration running through the different ways in which the FSS MX1 Eurorack module can be used. Now available from www.futuresoundsystems.co.uk and many good modular retailers.

The MX1 mixer module from FSS is designed to present a compact, affordable mixing solution for Eurorack users. The MX1 gives four audio inputs in as many HP, with both normal and phase-inverted outputs available. The level controls of the MX1 are logarithmic, but the channels are DC coupled, so CVs can be summed together using the MX1 if necessary. The MX1 provides unity gain of each channel when the level control is fully clockwise, meaning that there is no loss of signal level when mixing. This also allows for the MX1 to be overdriven, especially if the same source is multipled to the four inputs or the "normal" output is fed back into one of the inputs. A set of expansion headers also allow for the FSS P.O.C.A. VAC1 and Whitehall SW1 modules to be used alongside the MX1 without any patching required, when using the MX1x expander accessory.

To summarise, the features of the MX1 are:

-Four channel mixing in 4HP
-Logarithmic level controls for audio input level scaling
-DC coupled channels allow for CV summing
-Normal and phase-inverted outputs
-Unity gain summing allows for overdrive effects
-Expander board and cable (see Accessories) allow for normalling from FSS VAC1 and SW1 modules
-Reverse power protection
-2mm thick fibreglass panel
-Hand assembled and tested by Finlay Shakespeare at FSS HQ in Bristol"

Axel Hartmann's 20 Synth Nearing Completion - Set to Ship in June

"Set up for final testing and sound design. Fatar has sent us a b/w keybed for checking into a modified aftertouch ribbon below the keys, which works perfectly. The final models will be back to an all black keybed. The Synth you see is the first with black anodized surface. The grafics are laser edged. I am quite positive, that we can finally release the 20 by the end of June...

The synth is based on the Studiologic Sledge which is based on the Waldorf Blofeld. From the original post here"
