1980s Bit 01 (a Crumar Bit 01 demo)

Published on Sep 3, 2016 SynthMania

"An 1980s style demo of the Crumar Bit 01. I sequenced the drums and the bass, and played live all the other patches. Recording and mixing on Sonar Platinum. How to hate Windows and why many musicians use Mac: the OS decided to make a blub-blub-blub sound at 3:59 as I was rendering the final wav - Yes, I know I can turn off the system sounds, but I like to have them on. I'm just joking around a bit and I like to use both PC and Mac."

Arp Odyssey & Moog Sub 37 Jam

"Korg Arp Odyssey is being put though the external in of the Sub 37. Logic is sending midi clock to the sample and the Moog. Easy way to get everything in sync and on time."

"The Future Retro 777 is a monophonic analog synthesizer with a digital sequencer. The 777 is a sleek retro design that has realized the full potential of the monophonic pattern based synth. It's not just another TB-303 emulator. It uses analog circuitry and has a lot of hands-on knobs for instant sound tweaking. And while the 777 has extensive editing and modulation abilities, the layout is as basic and intuitive as an old SH-101 or MC-202!"

Rings Robot

Published on Sep 3, 2016 Henry Birdseye Jr.

"'Ruminations on a Sound on an SD card'

An extremely boring and tedious piece of robotic speech (except for the shoutout to Alvin Lucier) processed thru a Mutable Instruments Rings resonator. A Koma bends the parameters as the clip plays out of a Radio Music."
