Alesis Andromeda Unleashes Enormous Pad Soundscapes Demo #4

Published on Dec 6, 2016 gstormelectro

"Audio and Video by G-Storm Electro c.2016

The Alesis Andromeda synthesizer unleashes huge pad soundscapes. These pads range from OMG to WTF, and cut a swath right through the mix. So hide your daughters and cherished pets. I was going to do a Matrix-12 demo but that synth bricked this past weekend. Hence the sarcasm and sad face :( These are not your factory sounds. Audio recorded direct to Tascam DR-05 through a Mackie mixer. Click the LIKE button right now. No, really. Thanks for watching."

"An exceptionally-clean example and unusually for sale complete with original stand, pedal, music stand and manual in its folder. Working very well indeed - just back from a complete service.

The condition is very good overall - there are some scuffs to finish, mostly on the edges of the woodwork, and one ding to the top left rear corner, but overall this is in exceptional and complete condition. Click on the photos to zoom in and see more shots.

Model number on the bottom is Type 13GM751 15T. it's a sold state (transistorized) unit.

"Note this unit appears to have some sort of modification done with an external socket visible on the back as pictured, but I have no idea what this is for and so I have not tested its function."

"Recently serviced by Luke Walker at Melbourne Synth Repair, this is a one owner Arp Sequencer, bought from Dynasound in Melbourne in 1980. It has been used occasionally in sessions and in a home studio with an original Arp Odyssey. There are some cosmetic blemishes on the front edge of the unit, (see photograph), due to cables rubbing against it mostly, but this unit is electronically perfect and the control panel face is fine. Sliders / pots are clean and run freely. The model number is 1615 and the serial number is #0005. This is the black/gold color scheme."

"For sale is Roland VP330 Vocoder-Plus vintage synthesizer. This is a rare synth that sounds absolutely amazing. Super classic haunting string / pad tone, and when you combine the smooth warm vocoder sound with the human voice / string section it can get a huge epic sound, especially great for soundtrack / film work. Gives you that instant Vangelis / Tangerine Dream / Kitaro / Pink Floyd feeling. This particular unit is in nice shape but it does show some wear as expected for such an old synth. Be sure to check out the pictures to make sure you like it. Functionally it does need some minor touch-ups, particularly the sliders are slightly bent (but still functional), there is wear on the power cord at its base (also still functional as it) and some scratchy sliders/pots. These are all minor complaints. Otherwise all the features work as they should and you can still get awesome classic sound without needing any actual servicing."
