"For sale is a very rare Emulator EIII Rack. These only show up for sale once every couple years. This is the same exact sound and parts as the Emulator III keyboard but in a more portable rack version. The EIII keyboard cost upwards of $15,000 back in the day and was considered one of the ultimate samplers. Very few of these rack versions exist and they only show up for sale once every few years. This one is maxed with 8MB memory and has a couple nice upgrades including an internal card reader for saving/loading samples along with super bright and easy to read new screen. Cosmetically it is great shape minus some rack rash. Check out the pictures to make sure you like it. It is fully functional and I will include a working video showing it operates properly before shipping. These old EIII's are known to be temperamental, so buyer must be aware of the risks of shipping such an old fragile synth and that it may need regular maintenance and likely a little servicing/checking on arrival of internal cards/ribbons to make sure all connections are secure and all parts of seated properly. The only things worth mentioning is one slider is missing a knob cap (still operates properly and knob caps can be sourced for cheap if desired) and the left stereo output jack tip is slightly broken but still works. Includes printed copy of the reference manual and power cable. The last EIII rack on ebay sold for $4300 in May 2016. I priced this one lower for a quick sale. Don't miss out!"

Yamaha CS30 L / some clean sounds

Published on Feb 24, 2017 se7ense7

"It's easy to get distracted by the rich interface on this machine, I tried to keep it minimal this time.

The mfb522 was connected to the ext in of the CS30L, triggering the envelopes (weird, because the synth actually has a seperate trigger input)."

How To Learn Dexed Part 2 - Accurate & Definitive Sound Comparison With Yamaha DX7 Synthesizer

Published on Feb 24, 2017 Power DX7

"You only need to watch this video to learn the true capability of the DX7 and Dexed. This is an accurate sound comparison video and you will get an accurate result. Accurate comparisons & tests require both standard conditions by those factory patches and extreme conditions to push a synthesizer to its limit. This comparison included Power DX7 signature patches that really pushes the FM synthesis further and further.

My plan was to get Dexed working around mid last year, but I couldn’t get it working until recently.

Below is the link for downloading Dexed.

In part 2, I will show you the accurate sound comparison of the DX7 and Dexed."

"Here's part 3 the deepmind 12 ambient series. Hope this is of some help to someone out there, if there's anything you're wondering, just ask! I was in a bit of hurry this time so it's the same type of pady-business going on, I'm going to try and focus on some other type of sounds in the next video.
Happy nerding!"
