Too Many Eurorack Oscillators

Published on Jun 11, 2018 Perfect Circuit Audio

"We had some fun and put together this ridiculous eurorack modular synth case with 26 oscillators. This case produces a sound somewhere between white noise and the biggest swarm / unison detune sound."

Kawai DX800 Digital Organ

Published on Oct 4, 2016 Paul Kenny

"I had a few spare minutes in the studio so I decided to fire up my old friend the Kawai DX800 Organ."

This one in via Conny. Look at what's on top. :)

Update: A few links of interest from Conny:

"I couldn’t help doing some more reasearch.

The memoricorder really seems to be rare.
I can only (for now) find one other photo showing this and it’s an organ used in a band called The Night Blooming Jazzmen. Photo from 1982 with a DX1800 this time.

A member of that band is Les Deutsch, tech engineer and his father Ralph Deutsch invented the first digital instrument, according to Les’ info on his web page. Later on we can read this is probably more true to the first digital organ.

… and on this

there’s some tech info.
I wonder how much of the development of organs was later transfered into know how on building synths."

Ginko Synthese - Sample Slicer mk2 & Mic input *FIRST PATCH*

Published on Jun 11, 2018 DivKidVideo

"LAST CHANCE TO GRAB ONE ON THE KICKSTARTER - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ginkosynthese/sampleslicer-mk2

Here's the mk2 new and improved Sample Slicer from Ginko Synthese. I also have it's little friend (new from GS) the 2hp Mic input that comes with this cute little lofi mic (although it works with other inputs too). The first patch takes a clocked synth sequence and samples that live before pitch, sample length (amount of slices from 1-16) and sample start position are modulated. You can really hear that great 12 bit SP-1200 style quality which is nostalgic and full of character. I then move onto talking into the little mic and manipulating my voice over some basic beats. The Sample Slicer is all about live sampling and manipulation, fun and inspiring it omits sample storage or recall in favour of working in the moment."

CYCLONE ANALOGIC TT-303 BASS BOT + KORG VOLCA BASS // synths playing Bach Prelude D major // 3

Published on Jun 11, 2018 LESINDES

3rd ODD COUPLE:
CYCLONE ANALOGIC TT-303 BASS BOT // KORG VOLCA BASS
My challenge here was to tweak a proper sound for the BACH Prelude D major, BWV 850.
So different machines lead to different ideas -- so please don't look
for too much similarities!
Since (nearly) all of them are pure mono synths
all recordings are done in 2 takes. I filmed
the melody part.
