64 FREE PATCHES - Korg Poly61 vitange synthesizer

Published on Sep 24, 2018 Eyepatch Entertainment

"This is a set of patches that I’ve created while fixing Poly61s over the years. Some are similar to the factory patches, some are crazy, and some are very unique. These are all designed for either long ambient pads or interesting usage with the arpeggiator.

Matrixbrute/Duophonic Mode ("Transition #1")

Published on Sep 24, 2018 Kris Lennox

"Duophonic mode on the MB. VCO 3 (LH part) = sine wave. Upper part = combination of various waveforms. Note the metronome on the MB - the aim was to achieve a machine-like steadiness with the LH.

A collection of short, transitional works could be good. If I remember correctly, Boards of Canada had an album many years ago where between each main track was a short, transitional work. Transitional works only could work i.e. not only 'filler' tracks, but a collection. I'll maybe work on the idea over the next few months; potentially all on the MB.

Synth Stuff Ep. 49 - Moog Grandmother

Published on Sep 24, 2018 tritonrecordings

"The latest Moog mono-synth, the Grandmother. Much of the internal circuitry is drawn from the Model 15 modular system, giving this a more vintage flavor when compared to something like a Sub 37 or Sub Phatty. The look is very 70's too. With the semi-modular capabilities and the arp/sequencer, I have to say this thing is incredible bang for the buck. Not to mention, the spring reverb is amazing and makes everything sound old and spooky. This one is staying in my collection for a long time."
