Eurorack Live 3 note Techno Jam - Malekko voltage block / varigate, TH 555 VCO, VCF303, TWF, BIA ..

Published on Jan 23, 2019 While We Were Sleeping

Cool case! Looks like polymer clay.

"Recorded on Load speakers so if you can play it !!!!LOAD!!!!!
0:00 - Start
5:25 - The Genie is out of the bottle

This is the third evolution of this erurorack patch. I will post the first two soon. It's a vary rich patch but not so easy to tell from this jam as it only uses 3 notes and is more aggressive.
This patch uses the voltage block to provide 16 notes each with pitch cv, filter cutoffs, wave folding and VCA envelop decay. In this version of the patch I am using the varigate 8+ to control the step on the voltage block.

Eurorack Audio signal is fully analog and consists of:
1 VCO (Fonitronik thomas henry 555) ending in two VCO.
The first:
555 - Triple WaveFolder - ‘Humpback’ Filter - DinSync VCF303 - Left moon
The second:
555 - 1973 vcf - Right Moon -

This was just for fun. will soon post 2 more videos better demonstrating the patch at a later date.

The serge vcf uses the band pass that I think sounds glories. The DinSync VCF303 is amazing and changed my understanding of the 303. Again will post more obvious videos soon.

The patch is also my first youtube video staring the wonderful Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteritas Alter. You can hear my first recording of it on https://soundcloud.com/whileweweresle..."

Mariana Trench card for the Tiptop Audio Z DSP // lush feedback delay networks

Published on Jan 23, 2019 DivKidVideo

"Tiptop Audio have done it again with another totally lush and lovely delay/reverb hybrid with the FDN (feedback delay network) based 'Mariana Trench' card for their Z-DSP Eurorack module.

The card offers reverberant delays, simple echos, chorus like FX, unstable modulated delay lines, waveguide processing and more. It's an impressive collection of FX made all the more impressive with the 3 CV inputs per card, external sample rate clock input, CV over mix and stereo analog feedback paths and the options to CV or gate through the algorithms too."

Erica Synths-Black CV Tools Modulation

Playlist:

1. Erica Synths-Black CV Tools modulation 1
In this modulation, the connected Scaler raises the modulation range via CV
2.Erica Synths-Black CV Tools modulation 2
Erica Synths-Black CV Tools modulation is a small patch with the use of Noise from Black Modulator and LFO and Black VC EG that is interchangeable for both CV controls here both one knob once to the left once to the right changing their weight for complex modulation.
3. Erica Synths-Black CV Tools modulation 3
in this modulation, LFO is applied to the Scaler and scale also modulates the second LFO at a faster rate, which allows for a change between one and the other modulation
4. Erica Synths-Black CV Tools modulation 4
Here, Scaler raises and lowers sequences when it is applied to the CV for the sequencer

Skint, faint hearted and drowning-prone (dub tech eurorack modular jam)

Published on Jan 23, 2019 sector

"A little dub tech jam at Cala Rossa. this bay is undoubtfully one of the most peculiar spot of the island. let´s see 3 curiosity about this place:

1) In 241 b.c. the final battle of the first punic war is said to have taken place in front of this bay (the battle of the egad). The roman fleets stroke down with such fury on the carthaginian that the water turned red (hence the name Cala Rossa, which means the red bay). In this sea lies thousands of carthaginian and roman wreck, making it one of the most interesting archeological spots in the island

2) Around 1200-1500 a.d. turkish pirates where raging around sicily (and sicilian pirates where raging around turkey). One of the most vicious pirates was Turghud Alì, known as Drogot, or dragut. So vicious that was referred to as "the drawn sword of islam". His action was so scary and mercyless around the egad island, that the terror spread still remains to this days. His ghost is said to wander around here, with his sharp beard and his even sharper sword. The ghost of the Mammadrau

3)Petronilla was the long yearned descent of a limestone quarry owner living in Cala Rossa. But a woman could never be the head of a quarry. One day (some says at age 18, some says at age 23) Petronilla suddenly disappeared. Zu Nillu took her place, and steered the cave for the following years, living in a still standing house that guards the bay from above. Died at age 100, her documents has been discovered to be misteriously changed, she became a man by all means, and of petronilla not a trace was left. The movie "viola di mare" (purple sea) was based around this facts.

I used an Erica synths pico voice and Pittsburgh sv1sequenced by squarp hermod, and 2 Erica Synths pico drums sequenced by bastl knit rider. 2 pico dsp, a black hole dsp, blue lantern sir mixalot, expert sleepers disting mk4 compression algorithm on the master. Recorded live directly into a Canon 600d with magic lantern"

Oberheim MATRIX 1000 Demo / epic Pads & Strings / 1.20 / by Volcarock

"Oberheim MATRIX 1000 Demo / epic Pads & Strings (with FX: Oto Bam & Pigtronix Echolution Pro)
Two days ago my classic analog synth from 1987 arrived. After installing the 1.20 firmware and listen through all patches I made this demo with my favorite cinematic pads & strings. Gigli detune is set to 7 for sweet vintage vibes :-). I just recorded the jam and shortened it to about 6 minutes.

Controller/MIDI:
CME 37 and Stereoping Controller Matrix 10006R

FX:
Delay made with Pigtronix Echolution 2
Chorus Reverb with Oto Bam

I know there are a hundreds of Matrix 1000, Matrix 6 and Matrix 6R videos without FX outside. So I decided to make use of some hardware FX. sadly no video. but soon I will make a real video on my main channel VOLCAROCK with this outstanding sweet sounding synth! Anyway , hope you enjoy my pads & strings demo!"
