In this live stream, Peter covers the basic setup for MIDI Polyphonic Expression (MPE) in Steinberg Cubase, Bitwig Studio, and Apple Logic Pro X. He'll demonstrate how to use per-note expression in each DAW, using the Sensel Morph and built-in synthesizers. He'll also compare how each software works using plugins such as ROLI Equator, Audio Damage Quanta, and Madrona Labs Aalto.

In the previous firmware version, we introduced micro-step editing, allowing users to position notes off the grid for subtle timing variations. With unquantised recording, users have the ability to record into these micro-steps. This means that the organic, human quality of performances and punched-in beats can be captured in all their wonky glory.
