"PHYSICAL CONDITION: Excellent- Super clean all around. Some of the black lettering on the front is spotty but everything is legible. Some of the knobs have very minor scuffs that one could only see upon close inspection. A few minor dings on the wood cabinet but nothing that catches the eye. Overall, the physical condition of this synth is excellent.
WORKING CONDITION: Excellent - Maintained by a consummate professional. This synth is 100% original with no modifications or repairs. This synth is in excellent working condition. Lights and meter in perfect working order. All knobs and switches feel good. Patch bay and pins all in good shape. Overall, the working condition of this synth is excellent.
"This baby has definitely been around the block, cosmetic condition is rather poor but it works as it should, mic pre is clean and vocoder and synth voices work well. These MK I editions do have a highish noise floor, and sounds warm and a bit grainy but that’s a synth from the late 70s for ya. I had all the small electrolytic capacitors replaced 3 years ago ($600) as recommended by my local tech so there’s a few decades more life left to them."
"Complete with soft case, boxed PS-1 footswitch, Japanese manual and English/Japanese settings charts. We do like a Mono/Poly; One of those synths that always stops you in your tracks when the techs are testing one."
"Superb example of the CS-80’s slightly more portable cousin. Supplied in full working order and with warranty. Comes complete with expression pedal, sustain pedal and stand."
"Self-playing patch (more or less! I could not resist to turn some knobs).
All 3 Serge X-Fader outputs are sent to the Yamaha AW4416 that I always use as mixer with 2 effects.
The output of the mixer is sent to an audio interface and recorded as one stereo track."
