The Matrix 6 was one of the last few synthesizers from Oberheim to come out during the mid-eighties following the classic OB-series. The Matrix 6 utilized high-tech but less expensive digital and midi features and still retained a totally analog sound. It did this by using DCOs (digitally controlled oscillators) to provide stability, programmability and more. All the Matrix synthesizers featured Matrix Modulation which allows for extremely wild virtual patching for almost unlimited range of sounds and modulation capabilities! This Matrix 6R does not come with rack ears, but everything else is functionally sound."

"A very lovely vintage string & brass synth with the classic Roland design built into its own hard case so you're ready to take it anywhere. Contains the BBD chips MN3002 for that warm analog 'ensemble' effect. It has a gate trigger output to work with your other vintage synths too !"

"This MOOG Micromoog synthesizer makes sounds and offers 32 keys, trigger inputs and outputs, and an analog signal flow. It has a modulation wheel and ribbon controller features. All the the keys work and produce sounds and modulations but this classic American-made instrument could use a professional or hobbyist tune-up. Serial number 2313 with included original owners manual printed in 1976 in USA. The Micromoog weighs about 20lbs."

Playing the EMS Oscillators Like A Chord

video upload by PanicGirlVids

"While pinning or patching (I'm still not sure which term to use ^_^ ) I tend to use all three oscillators of the EMS Synthi A in a chord structure. I tune them beforehand and then fade them in and out as it fits to the background pad sound in this case.

The Nagra SN is very noisy as the motor seems to be in bad shape, but I like to use it as a Lofi effect which can be quite charming! In the end I also used the Magneto, which also adds a lot of character.

Does anyone of you own an EMS or has experience with software versions? Let me know if you have any tipps for me, I'd like to learn as much as possible about this lovely machine 🙌 "
