"Note: This special version of the Sub Phatty has raised Braille dots on its front panel in addition to the printed text.

The Moog Sub Phatty Analog Synthesizer gives you classic Moog mojo with a modern edge. With its all-analog signal path, dual oscillators, bone-rattling sub-oscillator, noise generator, LFO, and legendary Moog ladder filter, the 25-key Sub Phatty makes powerful Moog subtractive synthesis more portable than ever. And with the MultiDrive control, you can add everything from subtle grit to over-the-top distortion, for a broad palette of punchy vintage and modern sounds. If you've always craved an affordable, compact Moog mono synth, your wait is over. The Moog Sub Phatty: you know you need it."

THE ARP 2600...
To call the ARP 2600 an influential synthesizer is a grand understatement. When first produced in 1971, the 2600 presented musicians with the power of a full-fledged modular synthesizer, but with "normalled" connections allowed anyone to play without knowing how to program. It was educational, powerful, and flexible... And it sounded phenomenal. The 2600 can produce amazing sonic textures, leads, basses, sound effects, and just about any other sound you can imagine.

Early adopters such as Edgar Winter, Pete Townshend, Joe Zawinul and Stevie Wonder helped popularize the 2600 in a musical context. Stevie even had a customized 2600 with the controls labeled in Braille. The 2600 is also famously known as the voice of Star Wars' R2-D2, being played by sound designer Ben Burtt.

And with the reintroduction of the 2600 by Korg, as well as Antonus and 2600 VSTs such as Time wARP, Cherry Audio's CA2600 and Arturia, a whole new generation of musicians can now experience the endless possibilities of this incredible synthesizer. LEARN MORE"

D-50: Initializing patches, PG-1000 setup

YouTube via TheSynthFreq | January 28, 2011 | 3 likes, 0 dislikes
Note the braille.
"A new video explaining the 'init' process of D-50, how to work through a reset of a patch from the ' init' settings and a basic PG-1000 edit. Always check the Chorus settings and the balance of the two L and U first. Set the Chorus parameters to 00's since they are most of the times always going to be set to high values from the init process. This video is not the full length since my iPhone 3GS has a 9min limit and I guess the phone got bored of all my rambling on. lol
