"dsTec Original Syn Analog 3 oscillator mono synth - very rare. 3 Oscillator, 24db LP Filter, 2 x ADSR, LFO, MIDI LFOs per voice for PWM, Noise, External in. Check out Chris Carter's review from 1999."
"This incredible yellow synth was made in UK in 1999.
They are incredibly rare, there is a great Chris Carter review in SOS of it but very little information on the web about these.
This unit is in mint condition with practically no rack rash at all, just the slightest marks around the rack holes and hardly any marks on it at all, check the photos.
It sounds great - clear and wild.
Features :
3 independent LFO's for the pulse width on each of the 3 (DCO) oscillators. This sounds very fat indeed and is quite unique.
X-mod and osc sync.
Midi CC control of all parameters.
Built like a tank."
"The DSTEC Original Syn came out in 1999. A 3 VCO midi controlled monosynth. Classic monosynth architecture with a few tricks.. Demo uses the DSI Tempest for Drums and a simple bass note from the SE1. The main sequenc is the DSTEC. Kawai K5000s for pad. Enjoy!"
"Here's a chance to purchase a really rare and really great sounding, digitally controlled, analogue synth. Not many of these were made and I've only seen another two of these come up for sale in the last decade (i'm ready to be proved wrong on theis though)."
"This is one beast of a synth! Analog all the way controlled by DCOs oh and its bright yellow too!!It has been likened to the Waldorf Microwave for its capabilities and sound architecture.
An opportunity to acquire something rare that will not come up often for sale and offer something different to your creativity. Its a UK built synth in its entirety.
One minor fault: the lead screen doesn't show the number fully however this does not affect function and has never bothered me."
"This item is in mint condition, having been used by dsTEC as one of a series of demonstration units (it is not a relisted item) It comes complete with original box, manual and UK mains lead. It is set for 240V operation but this can be changed to 115-120V."
