Morning meditation with Buchla, Kesako & Morphagene
video upload by batchas
"I tried this small setup this morning in a 30 mins recording session.
This video is the first half of the session with a few cuts (the parts when I plug cables into the 258j for instance and it do that does not react - it's an old DIY project and I need to repair the faulty CV IN).
First time using the Morphagene in a patch (loaded with field recording samples).
External effects are: Audiothingies Doctor A, Eventide H9, Hologram Microcosm."
Morning meditation with Buchla, Kesako & Morphagene [Part 2]
"I tried this small setup this morning in a 30 mins recording session.
This video is the second half of the session, uncut.
First time using the Morphagene in a patch (loaded with field recording samples).
External effects are: Audiothingies Doctor A, Eventide H9, Hologram Microcosm.
I heard via headphones some saturation while preparing the video, which I didn't hear during recording. It looks like I did not set correctly the stereo level on the inputs of the Antelope Discrete 4. It would not be the first time. When I listen on YouTube it's even worse :(
A shame, cause I really enjoyed how this session did sound while improvising live."

05 24 22 Buchla Modular
video upload by batchas
"I was checking the H9 in my system late at night, trying to remove the huge digital noise it produces and (as usual) I ended up jamming!
The beat is a loop coming from Kesako 'Player & Reverb' module.
The delay comes from Scrotum Lab 'Espace temps'.
Kesako Player on 'Player & Reverb' is an extended version of Music Thing 'Radio Music' and the top part of Scrotum Lab 'Espace temps' module is an conversion/adaptation of Boss DD-5 delay pedal where I added CV control."

12 08 21 Serge Modular, Scrotum Lab and Késako
video upload by batchas
"The main sound comes form the Késako ex0ex, going to the Késako Reverb.
Voice samples: Késako Player being triggered, going through Variable Slope Filter.
Pinged VCFQ going into Frequency Shifter, sent to WAD in feedback mode.
Sequenced by Scrotum Lab Sequential Switch and Gate Sequencer.
I made a few videos of today's session, the camera was well positioned, but it must have moved before this last one! So I decided to add some footage on it."

06 26 21 Késako Player + Temps Utile + x0x
video upload by batchas
"The camera from the smartphone is not in the best position, but at least we hear the short jam I did after replacing the switches on the x0x module I made for my Buchla system and the Temps Utile I did a few years back. The Wogglebug in the bottom section of Temps Utile was not working.
Késako Player sends a beat in loop mode to the 230 and the delay section of Temps Utile. Késako x0X is synched to the beat thanx to the 230."

Késako Player & Reverb - SAMPLE SELECT via CV
batchas
"Selecting with an LFO the samples via CV In and switching LOOP on/off.
No external effect applied."
via Batchas
PLAYER is based on Tom Whitwell’s Radio Music open source project.
REVERB is based on Tom Whitwell’s Spring Reverb MK2 open source project.
The module runs on -15V/0V/+15V and is tested in a Buchla 200e original cabinet.
It comes ready to play with a few samples on a 16GB Sandisk Ultra microSDHC and a Belton BTDR-2H Digital Reverb Brick installed.
Included is:
– SD card adapter.
– Power cable.
Not included:
– Mounting screws.
REVERB was tested with and calibrated for a Belton BTDR-2H Digital Reverb and an Accutronics 9EB2C1B Spring Reverb Tank. The brick is installed on the module. The spring reverb tank is optional and can be either connected plugged to the front or to the back of the module.
IMPORTANT:
Please notice that the START POINT function is a bonus that still does not work 100% like it should. I’ll give my best to solve it in a future firmware update.
Supported sample formats:
• .RAW = 16 Bit / 44.1 kHz – Headerless Wav files
• .WAV = 16 Bit / 44.1 kHz
Specifications:
• Size: 7 x 4.25 inches
• Depth behind panel: 2 inches
• Power: -15V/0V/+15V
