"This is limited edition Moog Voyager XL, only 100 were ever made in celebration of Moog’s modular heritage. Not only that, this synth was a special order of a recording studio based in Austin, TX. Only this synth out of 100 has a green display, others have a blue one. With green display it looks much more “dramatic“. This is the last batch of Voyager XL production line.

I have all the original packaging in my studio in Kyiv, Ukraine. I will ship it to the buyer when I’ll have a chance to get there. But for now I’m selling it as it is."

The 1967 Moog 900 Series on an Arturia MicroFreak???

video upload by AutomaticGainsay

"Here is part one of a six-part demonstration of the placement and use of samples from a 1967 Moog 900 Series modular on the incredibly versatile Arturia MicroFreak!

The instruments in the theme music (including some drums) were created entirely with samples of the 1967 Moog 900 Series modular played on the Arturia MicroFreak, and multitracked.

Depeche Mode - Photographic / Some Bizzare Version (Cover by Synthfluencer)

video upload by Synthfluencer

"'This is Photographic!' - Depeche Mode fans know these words Dave Gahan yelled when playing live in Hammersmith Odeon in 1982. Actually, Photographic is a song from the very, very early days of Depeche Mode and might be created when they still called themselves 'Composition of Sound'. The 'Some Bizzare Version' is actually the first song they officialy released ever on a compilation named 'Some Bizzare Album'.

The song is one of the darker, harder DM songs and this version is even more raw and gritty. It is very reminiscent of the transitions from punk to wave, and the DIY aesthetic of punk in particular comes to the fore here with the hand-played synthesizers. Well before Depeche Mode redefined the genre of synth pop this early version of 'Photographic' is recorded on the gear they could afford back in the days: A Kawai S-100F, a Yamaha CS5, a Moog Prodigy and a Korg KR-55 drum machine. In my cover version I use two of the original synths, the Kawai and the Yamaha to recreate an authentic sound. The role of the Prodigy is taken over by a Behringer Model D, some support sounds by Pro-1 and Pro-800."

New Patch on the Moog Model 10 Modular Synthesizer

video upload by Beto Hale

"Three oscillators total; one using a sawtooth wave; another a pulsewave, and a third using a sine wave (used as an LFO).

The first two sent to the audio input of the voltage controlled low pass filter; the third (LFO) sent into the Control Voltage input of the filter.

The sine wave of the LFO is set to a frequency to match the tempo (in 16th notes) of the song I’m working on."

“Myoglobin: A Protein Primer” with music created on a Moog modular by Gino Piserchio

video upload by Robotussin Vintage Synths

"Lovely wonky transfer of a 1971 science film called 'Myoglobin: A Protein Primer' with music created on a Moog modular by Gino Piserchio, who was a composer and actor who had featured in a few films by Andy Warhol. Piserchio died in 1989 aged just 44.

I find this film very soothing, mainly due to the soundtrack, the beautifully degraded quality of the film, and the blissed-out narration."

Visage Fade To Grey ~ Vintage Synthesizer Recreation ~ RetroSound

One of my favorite tracks from the early 80s.
Fade To Grey by Visage (1981)
The composition is written by Billy Currie and Chris Payne during the sound checks for Gary Numan's Pleasure Principle Tour in 1979

featured: Moog Minimoog, the PPG wave 2.2 and the ARP Quadra

This cover song series contains my own recreations of my favourite songs from the last 50 years. The original music from which I take inspiration belong to their respective owners. I recreate tracks only for personal passion and to pay homage to these tracks.
My intention is not to create covers that sound exactly like the original (if you want to hear identical sounds, please listen the original). It's more of an inspiration with my sounds from the old synthesizers from the past and of course the great appreciation for the original performers and producers."

MOOG SONIC SIX

"Own a piece of history - the Moog Sonic 6 - and also my first ever synthesizer! It comes in its own suitcase with a power cord and the original manual. As noted in the condition description, this synth has multiple issues. Most importantly, the keys, particularly in the higher registers, do not consistently trigger the sound. The video [on eBay only unfortunately] demos some sound generation and also the key tracking glitches. Also note that the pitch isn't steady after a while, noticeable when you use both oscillators, which you will most of the time.

Lots of knobs and sliders to twiddle with, sculpting the sound. Truly an OG experience.

It does have an external input that can be connected with the ring modulator for cool distortion effects. I used to run my Wurlitzer electric piano through there."
