"As you can see from the second picture there is a little Bend to the left side of the rack. You could bend it back. There are a few scratches on the unit including one on the top and it stands out more due to the silver medal underneath the black paint, a black permanent marker would make it less visible. It is missing one of the knobs. As for the functioning everything seems to turn."

Three microtuned classical pieces on a Yamaha TX802

"Little composition excercise while playing with a Yamaha TX802's microtuning. Three parts, all built up of just minimalistic 2 note intervals. Most people used to pop music might find this temperment to sound strange or 'wrong'. I also tested the pieces with equal temperment (not shown in the video) - but it was instantly loosing the medieval charme and tension.

Technics: Two 802-tones (detuning +/- 2) on the same midichannel playing preset 'PickGuitar'. One to output I, the other to II, then through a Roland DEP-5. The TX-802 is noisy as an airplane, the final soundfile had to be denoised with FL-Studio Edison's footprint-denoiser. #Yamaha #TX802 #microtuning #synthesizer"

"Word on the street is Technics threw away all assets & manuals when they shut down their synth department. They must've gotten tired of all that SL 1200 success so they went on a edgy streak.

This synth is simple but effective and has it's own character. Included is a cover that says Technics Music Synthesizer to guilt trip you into playing this little beast.

Also included, translucent overlay in Japanese if you are interested in learning Katakana. Which you should.

Japanese model, comes with a step down transformer if you need one."

"The 32-key Technics SY-1010, released in Japan in the 1970s, is a little analog monophonic synthesizer. It features one saw-up oscillator, a low pass filter, ASDR, and a sine wave LFO. This is one of the most simple commercial analog synthesizers ever made, and although it may not offer the biggest variety of sounds, it remains a rare and highly sought-after collector’s item. And honestly, overall it’s still a nice little vintage analog synth. This synth is in very good condition, with the expected aging of a vintage instrument (please see photos), including some yellowing of the keys, some scratches, and other coloration. However, the unit has been thoroughly tested by our professional technician and works perfectly."

Stylophunk - Stylophone Gen X-1 Funk w. AX5G K350 #StylophoneGenR8Comp

"Double whammy of Song-a-day Feb 15 and my entry to the Stylophone Gen R8 competition.

So this video features several takes of the Stlophone Gen X-1 playing bass, a lead sound, a guitar like solo through a Korg AX5G guitar pedal, some sci-fi 'wobbles' near the end and it also filters and adds delay to the OG Stylophone (well the modern copy of one) as well as the drums from the Technics K350 keyboard. Had a total blast making this to be honest :D"
