"neither I nor Flickering Lights ( docs.monome.org/doku.php?id=app:flickering_lights ) are dead,
in fact, the new version is coming along very nicely.
just wanted to show you some of the new stuff
the front monome only displays the wavemap, not the steps - could be useful for live visuals
also, longer notes are finally possible
+ notice how i cut a note in half at 00:21
love

xylobot run by monome

"This is the Xylobot, our submission for the Berlin Music Hack Day, held on September 18-20 at Radialsystem V.
A custom Java app receives midi data from the step sequencer and controls the Arduino over a serial connection.
The board then triggers the servos to hit on the xylophone.
The whole construction was built in under 24 hours and is mostly made of hot glue and wood.
Made by Ramsey Arnaoot and myself
Check out the other awesome hacks @ berlin.musichackday.org/?page=Submissions"

Native Instruments The Finger vs Richard Devine
Native Instruments The Finger vs Richard Devine from Richard Devine on Vimeo.
"Here is a little experiment I tried using Tim Exile's new Finger Plug-in with Logic 9. I was running some of my drums on a track in Logic's Flex mode, slightly drawing in graphic tempo changes, and automating all the parameter twist knobs drastically, while programming every MIDI parameter I could assign on the piano roll editor, Doing more then my two hands could do=) Just letting it all go crazy. Some strange interesting results indeed. =)"
