"Eddy is a three channel stereo CV controlled mixer with sidechaineable compression and distortion, designed as a compact submixer. It also has normalized feedback paths for more experimental tone shaping, no input mixing, and percussion synthesis workflows.

The Cascade expander allows access to the individual VCA outputs for use as a triple stereo VCA as well as access to the feedback filter outputs and simultaneous clean, compressed, and distorted bus outputs for additional mixing and processing options."

"It's #202day ! The MC-202 is one of my all time favorite synth so I wanted to build a patch around it using the Schlappy Patching system.
Only the bottom row is used (apart of a Mixswitch to mix the voices).
MC-202 to Angle Grinder for additional filtering.
MC-202 gate out to two Nibblers for drum sequencing and stepped modulation.
Kick drum by two channels of the Boundary Layer.
HiHats by a feedbacking BTFLD in a Boundary.

Beyond the Noise: Synth and Eurorack Performance

"The initial idea of this track started with just ambient noise created by running the Mutable Instruments 'Plaits' through the Schlappi Engineering 'Interstellar Radio'. This noise was further processed and randomized by running the signal through various filters and effects.

After deciding to add in melodic and percussive content, the Moog 'Mother 32' and Novation 'Bass Station II' (AFX overlay used) were then added with sequencing provided by the Squarp Instruments 'Hermod+'. To process the Bass Station II further, it was sent through the eurorack setup using a couple Noise Engineering modules and the Befaco 'Oneiroi'.

The Novation 'Peak', Sequential 'OB-6 Desktop', and Korg 'Minilogue XD' and 'Arp 2600M' were added next to provide bass, melodic and ambient drone content. Last added was some additional drums/samples provided by the Elektron 'Digitakt II'."
