Tenzin Choegyal x Matt Corby - Improvised Session (Live from Happy)
video upload by Happy Mag
"✨ Matt Corby & Tenzin Choegyal Improvise for Live from Happy ✨
We’re still floating after this magical improvised session with the legendary Matt Corby and Tenzin Choegyal πΆπ₯
Two worlds collided, Matt’s soul-stirring harmonies met Tenzin’s transcendent Tibetan melodies, and wow, did we witness something special.
A raw, meditative, genre-defying moment that only these two could create. ππ (And yes, we’re still recovering.)
Huge thanks to Pig Hog Cables for powering the magic behind the sound. ⚡️π

Weston Precision Audio: SV1 & SF1 | Full Demo and Review
video upload by Happy Mag
"Tasteful design and even tastier tone — that’s Weston Precision Audio! π️
Met Devin at Buchla and Friends earlier this year and it was an absolute treat π
Starting with the SV1: a dual stereo VCA with both vintage and clean paths — four VCAs in total π₯
Vintage brings warm saturation with discrete transistors, while the clean side is modern, transparent, and tight π―
Run it in mono or stereo, link controls, bias your CV, and boost gain up to +6dB.
Need grit? Crank the input or flip the Overdrive switch for creamy distortion or sharp clipping π₯
And yes — zero-crossing detection eliminates clicks from fast envelopes. Smooth as π§
Next up: the SF1, a stereo or dual-mono VCF with two identical 4-pole filters.
Switch between LP, HP, BP — or tap into notch, all-pass, and phaser outputs too π
Link the filters or keep them independent. Modulate everything, shape stereo motion, or use it as a sine oscillator with 1V/oct tracking πΆ
It’s a filter, it’s an oscillator, it’s a full-on sound design weapon π§ͺ
Head to WestonAudio.com to dive deeper.
And shoutout to Pig Hog for keeping the patch bay clean π⚡️
Special thanks to Pig Hog for the cables!

"PPG Synthesizer 1002 for sale serviced an comes with fligtcase Had this for almost 6 years and serviced by Stefan Hubner who has a deep understanding of PPG systems. Some things to observe, one underside key broken but doesn't affect play..these are originals. Jacks for CV, Gate and filter modulation have been added and adjusted to 1V/oct. 'The mains wiring has been re-done according to current safety expectations (not to say standards) including a 'pig tail' cable with an IEC male plug for easier connection. CV and Gate were never standard on the 1002 so the ones having it were all more or less hacks, especially when it comes to oscillator CV. One would expect 1V/octave with 0 volts at a defined note usually. For the 1002 without my modification this means you set the potentiometer on the back that usually came with CV in to track 1V per octave but then had to add an offset of something around 2 volts to reach the lowest C. My approach disconnects the keyboard instead of adding some external voltage somewhere and simulates exactly what the keyboard delivers starting at 0 volts for the lowest C. The connection is being made by a relay actuated by the contacts in the CV jack. By simulating the keyboard, all panel functions remain active on the external CV (glide, tune, modulation) Trigger/Gate is a voltage input (V-Trig) working from 5V up. The filter input only modulates the filter setting and is not intended to make the filter track, for this purpose you should rather use the panel knob that attaches the cutoff control to the keyboard CV.' No second chance listing on this."

Metasonix TM-2 Dual Vacuum Tube BandPass Filter& VCA SN TM2-54
Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
via this auction
"Metasonix TM-2 Vacuum Tube Dual Bandpass Filter and VCA. These are rare and highly sought after. This one is SerNum 54. It is also the early gold version before Eric Barbour went to bright yellow. They are rare, some sell for ridiculous prices, this one is fairly priced.
This filter is very raw, It can growl, bark and squeal like a stuck pig. It has CV inputs for Filter and VCA, which means you can rock out with this interacting with your modular synth, or stick in an expression pedal for your guitar.
There are several videos of the TM-2 on Youtube (not mine if you want to hear it.
This one is in great shape, everything works and it has very low hours of use. I'm only selling it because I am downsizing and I'm not using it much. Time for someone else to have fun with it.

Note: links to listings are affiliate links for which the site may be compensated.
video upload by Austin Richey
via this auction
"Incredible combo of Peter Blasser's Lil Sidrassi and Rollz circuits. Made and purchased from seller Pickle's Gear Garage here on Reverb. Check out his shop! He does great work. Here's the original description:
Patchable, squishable noise maker From the basement emerges a prickly friend to drone, squeal, sing, and sputter along with. The box is built on #ciatlonbarde’s Lil Sidrassi and Rollz paper circuits, with a set of switched capacitors that can take you from ultrasonic and sub-bass frequencies with the flick of a switch. Below the switches are the Rollz, rhythmic drivers that send electric impulses to the Lil Sid. When connected to the Rollz, the Sid’s five oscillators can respond regularly - giving you techno textures - or chaotic - producing ultrasonic guinea pig battle cries.
9V Center Negative, includes a banana ground for connecting with other noisy friends.
Note: The only patch points that can be connected (after grounding) to other similar gear are the red ones, otherwise you may damage your gear!! Negative voltages are no joke!
Also Note: The Sidrollz in the Youtube video is the same one you are purchasing!
This thing is wild and super fun to use! I'm throwing in some small banana cables since I won't have much use for them after this and the Fourses sell. Consider it a gift from one weirdo musician to another :)"

Sequential Artist Spotlight Interview with JOSIE PACE & KEN ROBERTS
You can find the interview on Sequential's website here.
"As the saturated synths rise behind the lyrics “Just take your stamp off my design” in Josie Pace’s driving single, “Battleground” we immediately understand this is not an artist who is weak when abandoned. Instead, this Detroit artist’s music represents a piece of her solitude. The blistering glow of downtempo post-industrial beats, electro-pop melodies and layered soundscapes are home to Josie’s captivating lyrics; she is a songwriter in the purest sense. The result is a pulsating sound that will haunt you with vulnerability while basking in Josie’s world of self-reflection and unapologetic rock and roll attitude that Detroit is legendary for.
When musician and producer Ken Roberts saw an acoustic performance of Josie he was blown away. The raw and intimate performance captured the one thing all songwriters strive to achieve: believability. The two started working together with Josie’s songs as the foundation. As an accomplished guitar player, Josie molds and refines her songs acoustically only to tear them apart and rebuild them with Roberts’ grinding synths, unique production style, and the addition of Mark Damian’s live drums. Songs quickly formed into a unique sound that pull from the likes of Depeche Mode and Nine Inch Nails yet contain a high-art fashion swagger as if you just bumped into David Bowie at a Halston Party.
From the beginning, the style and the art of the music are just as important as the melody and beat. Josie’s first music video Torn introduced audiences to her unique brand of electronic rock and visual artistry. That theme continues with the videos for Battleground, NO, My Mistake, Lies of the Lovers and Fire where fashion and desolation hold hands with Josie’s in-your-face performance. Perfect Replacement would follow featuring a collaboration with another fierce female, Sammi Doll (IAMX). Josie carries the same commitment of style and artistry to her high-energy live performances having shared the stage with Tim Skold (Marilyn Manson, KMFDM) Daniel Myer (Haujobb, Architect), Powerman 5000, Stabbing Westward, and <PIG> along with successful headlining shows in New York, Detroit, and Los Angeles.
We chatted with Josie and Ken on how they have been using Sequential instruments in their music."
