CME UF 50 And Waldorf Nano: The CME Stands Alone

YouTube via gearwire
"Bill Holland has more than a few screws loose in this video as he opens up the CME UF 50 controller keyboard for some surgery. If the surgery is a success, the implanted Waldorf Nano soundcard will give the CME controller the ability to act as a standalone keyboard.

If the surgery fails, however, Bill's medical license will be revoked, and he'll have to resort to being an actor -- possibly a stand-in for the Blue Man Group.See more on Gearwire.com."

"This is a pic of my recently completed Synthtech MOTM 300 Ultra VCO, made from v2.0 parts instead of a complete kit. It's basically identical, except for a few part choices - I used someone elses Bill of Materials which had some odd parts choices on it."

Bellingham Synth Expo

Unfortunately it looks like this event already happened on April 25. Click here for more info and images. Anyone know if this was a one time thing or a yearly event? There was also an electronic arts festival (BEAF) April 23-26.

BTW, for those of you in the Seattle area, the Decibal Festival 2008 is September 15-28.

genoQs Machines - Launching NEMO!

"Stuttgart, July 1st, 2008

Dear all,
back in March at the Musikmesse 2008 we have presented Nemo, the portable sequencing machine
that delighted many hearts and souls with its unconventional appearance, form factor, and power!

We take big pride in what Nemo has finally become over the past few months, and we hope you will too!
Today, on the 1st of July 2008, we are excited to share with you the great news:

Nemo is here!
Enjoy with us the material now available on our site (www.genoqs.com) describing the new machine:
- the storyboard provides an introduction to the operating model of Nemo.
- the manual describes all features in great detail, while
- the picturebook is a collection of Nemo poses over the last few weeks.

We are much looking forward to your comments, questions and feedback!
Nemo is available for order now, with delivery of pre-ordered and reserved machines starting Moday, July 7th.

Once again, our sincere thank you for the years of commitment, support and dialogue, which is probably the single most important driver that led us to this accomplishment!
