It's a more stable version of the original Minimoog oscillator board that can plug directly into either a Studio Electronics MIDI Mini or a real vintage Minimoog model D synthesizer. It's the same shape and size of the original Minimoog oscillator board. If you have an original Minimoog but it's got dead oscillators or really unstable oscillators, this board may be a good purchase for you. Alternatively, if you're a DIY type who enjoys building synths, you might want to buy this board so you've got 3 Minimoog style oscillators at your disposal.
