BugBrand 4015 Dual 4-stage Shift Register

"The 4015 contains two independent 4-stage shift registers and require clock and data signals (along with a reset input which may be implemented or not depending on requirements). I wired the data input with a single-pole-double-throw-centre-off switch so that you can input a logic HI, logic LO or external data flow - in the Up position, the input is tied HI, in the mid position the input is pulled low by the pull-down resistor and in the low position the external input is connected. I also made use of small 5-way rotary switches to give a switchable-select-output - but its hard / expensive to get such switches.."

There are, however::::::
- more AudioWeevils

Batch #3 of the AudioWeevil08

15 boxes have just been added to the shop
These are black slope fronted cases with red panel.
(similar to the shown image, but the case is black rather than dark brown)
Priced, as usual, at £190 plus shipping.

(This mailout is being sent later in the day than the last two - those of you in the US hadn't been getting a fair look-in with midday mailouts)
(You're also in a good position as the £ is not feeling so healthy at the moment...)

Please strike quickly if you'd like one...

After holding a workshop event at the Hokaben Festival recently, I have finally completed the documentation for the Workshop Osc Machine kits.
You can download it here (1.5meg size) [pdf]
22 pages of info! Covering an introduction to parts, how to solder, kit construction and how the circuit works..

A limited number of kits are now in the shop with a further set later in the week.
Kits contain Printed Circuit Board, ALL parts and B&W printed instructions.
The only tools required to build the kit are: Soldering Iron (plus stand & cleaner) / Solder / Wire Cutters
The kits are priced at £40 plus shipping.

Auduino

Auduino from Tinker.it! on Vimeo.
"Having a play with the Auduino synthesiser.

Auduino is based on the Arduino board. The audio is coming direct from Arduino PWM output with only a slight external reverb. No other effects were used.

Construction details and code here"

via Peter of Tinker it!:
"Me and the team at Tinker.it have put together a softsynth for Arduino entitled Auduino (a contraction of Audio Arduino) and I thought you might be interested. I've released the source and schematic, so everyone can hack around with it.

Anyone know the organ/keyboard in the middle shot?

OBERHEIM SEM output module

via this auction
"It had been taken out of a perfect Oberheim 4 (or 8) voice, it is the output module, with pan options."

BTW, some people on AH are calling out this other auction as a scam. You be the judge.

I Love Synthesizers

via Scott:

"I have a synthesizer themed t-shirt design in the running at Threadless.com. here's the link to the design (I Love Synthesizers). The "I (Heart)" is hidden subtly in the knobs and sliders on the synth. If it gets enough high votes they'll print it up. Anyway, thought this might be of interest to you."
