NAMM Rumor: NI to Release Hardware Synth?
Just a rumor on electro-music.com.
via grimley
Anyone else heard the rumours about a Native Instruments DSP box to be unveiled Thursday?
If this is true (and it runs Reaktor) it could be an alternative to the G2(especially if you could plug the Kore 2 controller into it ... now I know I'm dreaming).
via iPassenger
"Have heard they have some softare/hardware machine lined up for tomorrow. Certainly very interesting, NI with hardware could indeed be a serious piece of kit. I also thought it was supposed to have some controllers on it."

For more detailed info on the Sal-Mar see the label at the bottom of this post. It was restored by Greg Danner, who is of course gdanner.

The new JUNO-G is affordable and user-friendly. But thats where the comparisons to yesteryear end. This modern marvel packs a studios worth of sound, sequencing, and audio recording into one amazing instrument. Sharing the same high-quality processor with Roland's famous Fantom-X series, the JUNO-G puts a world of first-class sound under your fingertips ? and allows you to add more sounds via SRX expansion. Create songs with the onboard 16-part sequencer, and add four audio tracks on top, all for an incredibly low price!

The Roland SH-201. If youre a synth pro, the SH-201 will remind you of why you fell in love with synthesizers in the first place. Simply, the SH-201 is a blast to play! It sounds great too, thanks to such features as Rolands famous Supersaw waveform, Feedback Oscillator, D Beam, and more. The SH-201 is also equipped with an external input, so you can manipulate your CDs, MP3s, or other external input devices and instruments."
