C64 Mssiah Arp Pro Soloist and the Akai S900 Glitch Hop Commodore 64 music rocks!

YouTube via djnamelessmix
"Here is the partial studio so far. We've got a C64 mssiah chip and the Bass Line by 8 Bit Ventures. Hip hop music has been using these sounds a lot, so I thought I'd give it a go. This is part 1 of the song, I'll record a full clip in the future with better sounds quality. Anyways, I've just ordered a Paia 4700 modular, so it should add some depth to the sound too."

DSCI0840 - PAiA Modular Video

YouTube via djnamelessmix
"Here is the PAiA 4700 modular in action. I'm somewhat inexperienced at using this modular, though I am able to show the various waveforms running though the envelope follower. Without the CV Gate Keyboard or sequencer, the functions of the waveforms are somewhat limited. PAiA, Moog, and Buchla were responsible for the modulars of the early 70's. Only a handful of these older modulars exist and if they are put together well, then you can make some screaming sounds. I never did get to CV gate this unit, I hope it get's a lot of use by the next owner."

ANALOG SYNTH VCO NOISE BOX

via this auction

"Compared to other gadgets selling currently on ebay, this has alot more going on inside(take a look!!) and the output shapes are well defined. On my own setup these VCO's are my top singers.
The internal PCB was PRO CNC made and very reliable. The case is made of plexi glass and has Tadpole looking designs inside the plastic.

Here's the specs:
ALL JACKS ARE 3.5mm size. You can use a Headphone type adapter to convert to 1/4" size for mixers, etc.

OUTPUT WAVES:
-SAW
-RAMP
-SQUARE
-TRIANGLE

Front Input Jacks:
-LINEAR CV
-SYNC
-PWM
-EXPO CV with Attenuator knob

There is no internal Volume for the outputs, this is just like the Modular VCO's-direct, analog big sound! Connect this to a mixer or Compressor if your going to do alot of wild sweeps to protect from clipping."

ARP 2600 modular synth w/Moog filter & 3604P keys

via this auction

"It is in pretty much unmodified state- maintenance has been done but no major mods or repairs other than replacing tantalum caps and a few sliders & caps. The power supply was recapped a few years back- the +/-15 V rails are very steady. The unit has been rewired for 240V. This model has the 4027-1 VCO (2 potted, 1 unpotted) and 4012 Moog ladder type filter."

Roland cr-8000 with Mods

via this auction
"It has individual outputs, noise level knob added for the snappiness of the snare/tom/clap noise source and it goes into noise oscillation at max setting, 2 knobs for cowbell tuning though they don't have a very wide range, one knob for clap decay which is awesome it goes into a super long decay or an ultra short decay. Between the noise knob and clap decay knob you can get a super wide range of clap sounds, everything from ultra tight 909 sounds to 808 and way beyond it's honestly the coolest clap on the planet. There are a bunch of buttons that aren't working so they were bypassed with push buttons"
