Sold for BIN: $369
"The Roland HS-60 is the exact same synth as the JUNO 106 on the inside (the circuit boards say JUNO 106) but it has built in speakers so you dont need an amp to play it! All you need to do to disable the speakers is to plug something into the phones jack and you've got a 106."

"Hello ! My name is Frederic Gerchambeau. I have made this movie and this music. The music has been made entirely with a Korg MS20 passing through Plogue Bidule, in only one take, no overdub and no edit. What i play is what you hear. Enjoy !"

"Gattobus Meditation" Dopefer R2M + Moog Little Phatty

"Live improvisation using Doepfer Ribbon Controller R2M connected CV to the Moog Little Phatty. Position on the ribbon determine pitch and pressure sensitivity controls the filter cutoff.

I used the Modular G2 filters to create a rithmyc drone and the Elektron Machinedrum for drums. The Roland Alpha Juno2 is connected midi to the Access Virus TI desktop.

Added some reverb and delay using 2 stomp pedals Digitech Hardwire DL-8 and RV-7 and Korg AM8000R.

That's all.
Played one shot."

STEIM@40! Last event: Patterns & Pleasure

"STEIM@40! Last event: Patterns & Pleasure

Martin Brandlmayr / Percussion and computer
Pierre Bastien / Self-made mechanical instruments
Franck Smith / Handsonic and effects
dj sniff / Turntable and computer

The STEIM@40! was a celebration of STEIM’s 40 year history through a diverse program of events. We would like to conclude this series by looking into new themes.

From once being an act of banging on things, rhythm has evolved into something that you carefully program through sequencer based instruments. Groove becomes an interesting space where complexity and intuition intersect. So how can we imagine new tools and ways to perform this new groove? How can we bang, sculpt and structure in real-time?

Come join us to see 4 solo musicians – all virtuosic and unique in their ways to generate rhythm.

Bob Moog Foundation Calendar 2010 - Last 50 Copies!

Just a heads up, only 50 copies of the Bob Moog Foundation 2010 Calendar are left. I just received my copy this weekend. The calendar is a great conglomeration of images and the history of Bob Moog's legacy. It is built to last like his instruments. The paper stock is thick! Not your cheap glossy calendar here. Highly, highly recommended. I plan to have mine framed. If you haven't picked up a copy yet and were planning on it I recommend you do so quickly. This is THE stocking stuffer of the year in my opinion. Pictured here is a signed version including signatures of Keith Emerson, Erik Norlander, Larry Fast, and Brian Kehew. Note only 5 of these exist and are not for sale. Michelle Moog-Koussa was gracious enough to let me post these here for posterity/historical purposes. Click each for a larger shot. Be sure to check out the Bob Moog Foundation website for more. You can find the calendar under the "Shop" link on the top right of the site when you get there.
