Launchpad w/ Sherman Filterbank 2 Demo

Launchpad w/ Sherman Filterbank 2 Demo from Gattobus on Vimeo.

"Yet another experiment using Sherman Filterbank and Novation Launchpad, this time running monome app Press Café.

No external signal was processed: the 2 internal filters are self oscillating and they're singing by themselves!
I'm only triggering the envelopes via MIDI:
the 2nd and 4th columns of buttons of the Launchpad trigger the amp Attack/Release, while the 1st and 2nd columns trigger the filter ADSR at different velocities, producing percussion sounds."

ROLAND JUPITER 4 ANALOG POLYPHONIC SYNTH

via this auction
"This is a beautiful example of a Jupiter 4, maybe rolands finest sounding polyphonic synth. Its called jupiter however sonically it is more like a polyphonic early sh-synth, which means it sounds more '70s than '80's in a way. Although its only 4 voice each one is super fat so playing a three note chord with a bass note is highly rewarding. I am told the envelopes on this beast are some of the fastest in a roland synth and it seems to be true, percussive sounds basses are very easy to make and with the fast lfo you can create all kinds of ring-mod type sound effects. I am sad to sell this synth it is a truly unique beast and would never quite be replaced by any of my other analogs but financial circumstances force it. I think anyone who is a fan of '70s or early '80's electronica would love this machine. I could site many famous users but here is a good (although poorly recorded) example of what can be done with just a jupiter 4 and a tr-808"

Tiptop Audio Z-DSP Review on VICMOD

"I've only been using the Z-DSP for a few hours, and have been concentrating on the "Dragonfly Delay". I am already amazed at some of the sounds and complex drones I've been able to get out of it with the CV control of feedback and DSP assigned controls."

You can find the full review on VICMOD here.

rotation

rotation from J Stick on Vimeo.

"Simple patch illustrating one use of the 4ms Rotating Clock Divider. Four outs from the RCD are sent to one Maths, which is mainly used as a mixer for the four incoming sources. SUM out opens the Borg filter, which is in a feedback loop with the Plague Bearer to give the sound more flavor. The second Borg is in the chain to roll the nasty highs off, and is perked up with the OR out from Maths.

uLFO is clocking the RCD from pulse output, and also providing the rotation via the shaped sine output. Changing the shape of the sine and attenuating it gives pretty good control over the rotation, while mixing it up enough to be interesting.

The second Maths is slowly modulating the gain input on the Plague Bearer, and providing an occasional reset for the RCD."
