Musikmesse: Encore Electronics Universal Event Generator

"The Encore Universal Event Generator is a Euro Rack compatible module designed to be a versatile and useful addition to an already great modular system. The UEG can be used as an envelope generator, a complex LFO, or as a step sequencer.

Eight stages are provided with adjustable time and level for each stage, and they each have an LED which indicates the relative voltage output for that stage."

Note all news posts during the Musikmesse period will get the label so you don't miss anything. I won't be doing the Not Musikmesse post title headers like I did for Not NAMM. Click on the Musikmesse label below for all posts so you don't miss a thing! I just had a slew of posts in the last couple of hours that drowned out prior Musikmesse posts. As always, always check back for updates.

Musikmesse: 5U Mk1 Oscillator Update

via Ken MacBeth on Facebook

"I have now included an on/off switch for the built in Glide function- simple, but extremely useful and a definite requirement! Stay tuned- I hope shortly, and that could be today to have one, maybe two of these fellas prototyped for display and sound!"

ARP SOLUS

"The 1970s were a formative period for music in that those years introduced electronic music to the general public in entirely new ways with extraordinary instruments. ARP and MOOG competed in the synth market. The popularity of the MINIMOOG and ARP ODYSSEY were astounding. To increase affordability, both made ever-so slightly simpler instruments, the MICROMOOG and SOLUS.

The SOLUS has: 3 Octave Manual, with that all-important Portamento, or Glide control, 2 Fat VCOs, ADSR Envelope Generator, LFO, Full Complement of voltage control ins and outs, and MORE. My favourite: ADSR PWM for a richly, seemingly random ever-changing quality to the overtones."
