MorphWiz - Jordan Plays Somewhere Over the Rainbow
YouTube via JCRUDESS — June 08, 2010 — "Jordan plays 'Over The Rainbow' with MorphWiz, his soon-to-be-released iPad music app. This arrangement was inspired by the great Jeff Back and his version on his latest album 'Emotion and Commotion.' This app is the creation of Jordan Rudess and Kevin Chartier."

Jomox M-Resonator, Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail, DOD FX32 Meat Box, Bleep Labs Nebulophone
Behringer Xenyx 802, 4MS Autonomous Bassline Generator, Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrazzi Organus
The signal path is:
Tetrazzi Organ (stereo) > M-Resonator (stereo) > channel on mixer
ABG / Nebulophone > channel on mixer
FX send on mixer: Holy Grail > Meat Box > channel on mixer
mixer > amplification+sound!"
via Josh of addicted to noise:
"I've started up a site that's dedicated to doing reviews, samples, holding discussions and soon to feature video reviews of music hardware for experimental artists. Will be covering a lot of different devices very soon--for now the only review I have finished is for the DOD FX32 Meat Box, but I have plans to cover some of the Andromeda Space Rockers kits, the Ciat-Lonbarde Tetrazzi Organus, Jomox M-Resonator, etc, all in a fashion that will favor people of an experimental nature. I feel like this is a presence that is lacking amongst all the guitar effects demos on YouTube and on other sites; not enough thinking that strays from the path."
Multivox MX-2000 Duo Vintage Synthesizer
via this auction
"The MX-2000 is a rare 2 oscillator synth with some very meaty, very analog sounding instrument patches. Perfect for making screaming DnB style bass lines. It would take an extremely talented effort with such as absynth to even come close to the actual analog sound of this synth. Arguably the best find of my life. A true analog enthusiasts dream. Made in Japan in the late 70's. Monophonic 3 octave Keyboard. The Keyboard has a small chip out of the low A key and over the years a silver toggle that controls solo or unison has broken off."

Pre-Acid 303 - Early Roland TB-303 Tracks
The subject of a TB-303 revival came up on the Analog Heaven mailing list. The discussion lead to some sharing the first tracks featuring the 303, including of course pre-Acid tracks. The following are a few of them including a couple by Alexander Robotnick I tracked down. They are in order of release by year ending with Phuture's "Acid Tracks", credited as the first Acid track ever, for good measure. Wikipedia on Acid. If you know of any others pre 1987, feel free to comment or shoot me an email and I'll add it to the post. I know there was a track which used the 303 as a traditional bass guitar, but I forget what it was.

YAMAHA TX7 EXPANDER FM TONE GENERATOR MIDI SYNTHESIZER
"The TX7 was the table-top 'expander' version of the phenomenally successful DX7 synthesiser. As well as acting as a synthesiser in its own right, it provided extra storage for 'performance' patches for a DX7, which only has one global performance setup. The intention was that the DX7 and TX7 be linked together via MIDI so that the TX would download performance information to the DX as patches were selected. The TX7 had a front-panel editing interface for the performance data, but not for the onboard patches. Other than that, the voice architecture was identical to the DX7's. There are literally 1000's of sounds available for this module online for free." You cannot fully program a TX7 on it's own.
