ARP 2600 Pro-Soloist Synth Synthesizer Demo Records

via this auction

"Notes: Guaranteed original press. Set of two 70s era demo records for Arp keyboards. One is a one-side flexidisc featuring demos of the 2600, Odyssey, 2500, etc. Narrated by Roger Powell, with excerpts from The Who, etc. The other is a 2-side vinyl 7" demonstrating the Pro-Soloist. No narration, just musical examples. The flexidisc is fairly scuffed up, but listenable. The other disc is very clean, about VG++."

This one spotted and sent in via Pea Hicks (peahix).

ARP Axxe

ARP Axxe from Jochen Bohnes on Vimeo.

"Just a few aspects of this small & strong synthesizer. On the Vimeo-video are some noises that are not original."
"The ARP Axxe is NOT a half of an ARP Odyssey. A stronger VCA gives the instrument a quite different character."

4ms Shuffling Clock Multiplier version 1.0.2

YouTube via 4mspedals — June 16, 2010 — "The Shuffling Clock Multiplier is the latest Eurorack-format Clocker module from 4ms. It's the spastic cousin of the Rotating Clock Divider.

User Manual for the SCM is here: http://www.4mspedals.com/scm.php

In this video two SCMs and some RCDs are all synchronized using a Bananalogue VCS's End-out for the master clock. The SCMs/RCDs are triggering some Analogue Solutions SD/BD/HH88 drum modules (bass drum on a slow Shuffle-4, open hat on S5, snare on a slow S8, hat accent on S8, closed hat is sequentially switched between S6 and x8).

A slow rise-fall CV signal from the VCS is controlling the CV Slip on the main SCM, which is pushing beats variable ahead in time from where they normally fall.

The clocks are also gating an ADSR envelope, which sweeps the Position CV on a 4ms Atoner to generate the melody line. A Wiard/Malekko Borg Filter 2 gates the Atoner with the Shuffle-5 clock to make distinct notes. A high pitch from an Anti-Osc also gets gated by the Shuffle-3 clock about half way through the video.

At the end I speed up the VCS which makes everything run faster and faster until we hear the limit of the clocks (about 3kHz, or 180,000 BPM)!"

Eminent P 275 Home Organ

YouTube via grauoliv — June 16, 2010 — "Short introduction to the organ Eminent P 275 with solina strings. Thanks to Petra (Peine) for the organ, thanx to Michael and Andreas for transport. It was worth it! But I think the 2000 Grand Theatre got more options on the solina strings, maybe ...."

"CarWash" - on Yamaha PSR-78

YouTube via organfairy — June 16, 2010 —

"Normally I make the music first and then record the video. This time it was the other way round: About a year ago I wondered how a carwash would look from the inside of the car. So the next time I took my Suzuki to the carwash I placed the camera inside the car before starting the wash.....thing.

I didn't really know what to do with that recording but then I got the idea to play the old 1970's classic "Carwash". Another unusuality is the inclusion of a sax solo in the arrangement. I hope you don't mind.

Apart from the foghorn I used a Yamaha PSR-78, a Roland E-15, the Technics SX-C600 organ, and the Böhm Station one."

Roland CR-78 drum machine & WS-1 (owned by GENESIS)

via this auction

"Vintage analog gear. used, as/is, no returns, no refunds, no exchanges. Roland CR-78 works great (yes, think Phil Collins 'In the Air Tonight').

Includes the almost extinct WS-1 write switch. This WS-1 was previously owned by GENESIS and I have the purchase certificate for proof.

The CR-78 was NOT owned by GENESIS, only the WS-1."
