First off... sorry about the quality. If there is someone out there who knows how to record from the computer screen to mpg with better clarity please let me know.
Anyhooo... this video is designed to help people get the most out of the MFOS website including: how to navigate, how to search, how to share links, etc. One thing I neglected to mention is that ALL of the mp3 links have been updated to use the Yahoo Media Player. Analog Video Synthesis with Arp 2600
YouTube via AdamRSomers | November 24, 2010 |
"This video was created using the OEI analog video synthesizer with control voltage inputs for various parameters. The control source used was an Arp 2600 synthesizer. The audio produced by the synth is audible at a low volume. Made with Video Graphics instructor John Hawk at CalArts in 2004."

& KORG OASYS
"Non ho resistito. Stanotte, appena arrivato, l'ho subito messo alla prova per sentire come i suoni del Prophet si comportassero accanto a quelli di Oasys. Beh, su certe sonorità sembrano proprio essere complementari e andare a braccetto. Come sempre ho attaccato la camera e improvvisato la prima cosa che veniva: ciak, buona la prima."
Amos: Another MIDI OSC Source
"Amos is a reactive MIDI instrument. It sends MIDI notes over a wireless network to almost any desktop host app such as Garage Band, Logic, Pro Tools, Live, etc. Think MIDI wind-chimes crossed with a pinball machine. In Amos's physics-simulated room, collisions between objects trigger MIDI notes. Up to three duration discs (half note, quarter note, eighth note) can be grabbed and thrown around the room. There are three 6-octave keyboards that can be configured via the Settings menu. When a disc strikes a keyboard key, it takes on that key‘s note value and emits that value for each collision until a new key is struck. Tilting the device controls the gravity in the room.
Requirements
• iPad
• A Mac, Linux, or Windows computer on the same WiFi network as your iPad
• A copy of the free DSMI Server running on your Mac, Linux, or Windows computer
• Some kind of MIDI capable desktop app (Garage Band, Pro Tools, Logic, Live, Sonar, etc.)

See http://anythinghonest.com/amos for set up instructions."
