"In Den Haag wordt door Oskar Sala een demonstratie gegeven van de klanken van een nieuw elektronisch muziekinstrument, de Trautonium. De speeltafel van dit instrument is vergelijkbaar met die van een pijporgel. Het heeft twee 'manualen' die met de vingers worden bespeeld. De normale configuratie van zwarte en witte toetsen ontbreekt echter. De Duitser Zaun geeft een toelichting. Sala speelt op het instrument een stukje muziek en wordt daarbij begeleid door een pianist.

"I've decided to sell my PS-3100. It's a wonderful synthesiser and, even 30 years after it was made, there is nothing outside of the PS series with which it compares, however it's not getting enough use and I don't have enough space for it.

The PS-3100 is, like the later MS series, semi-modular, and was built in the late 1970s. There are probably only about 400 left in the world. It's 48 note polyphonic, very versatile and sounds great.

It is in very good condition. I bought it from Ko at Modeless Factory (Japan) about a year ago and he did a lot of servicing work to it including replacing all the edge connectors and electrolytic capacitors before shipping.

When it reached the UK I had the MM5824N divider chips replaced with modern CMOS replacements from Flatkeys (they have a life-expectancy of at least 20 years) and it was then serviced by Tim Wallhead.

I will not ship this as it's delicate and weighs 30kg so it's collection from South London (Elephant and Castle) only. Cash on collection, bank transfer or PayPal only."
