Kinetic Gates without a Model 32

Kinetic Gates without a Model 32 from Pete Shambler on Vimeo.

"Trying to recreate the "Kinetic Gate" outputs of the Plan B Model 32 joystick using a Flight of Harmony Choices and Doepfer A-156 Dual Quantizer.

Patch:

X and Y voltage outputs from Choices are mixed together and sent to the CV in on the A-156. Trigger out from the quantizer to an envelope channel on Maths, Maths CV out to VCA CV in.

Quantizer CV out to 1v/oct input on VCO (in this case an e350 Morphing Terrarium).

(copies of the X and Y outputs are sent to the X and Y morph inputs on the e350)

That's it! Changing the quantizer settings changes the voltage output obviously, but also the amount of new voltages being created, which in turn affects the number of triggers it will be spitting out.

MacBeth X-Series Dual SV Filter Demo 1

MacBeth X-Series Dual SV Filter Demo 1 from Ken MacBeth on Vimeo.

"Hello again! Here is the first demo- if not basic- of the the new Macbeth X-Series Dual SV (State Variable) Filter module. Being used in conjucntion with it are 2 x X-Series Oscillators (along with sub octaves) giving a very rich sound! Listen out for the stereo sample and hold modulation. When the switch is thrown to invert on one modulation channel- the stereo becomes very aparent. Remember- this is just one module doing the proccessing! Also seen here is a prototype idea for a six input mixer with noise- not dissimilar to the 8 input Mixer 'A' from my Mk1 Series.....
The Dual SV Filter is being swept by one EG from the Mk1 Dual EG module. Audio and control jacks in the the Dual SV Filter are normalised."

Midi Integrator

Full details on altKeyboards

"A simple way to convert PC inputs; keyboard, mouse, joystick and more into midi input, combine with other midi instrument input, enhance, and then route to instruments, with quick re-configuration.
Highlights:

Allows adding pitch-bend and modulation controls, via one or more touch-pads or a mouse, to any midi system
Allows regular Midi instruments to be controlled and routed much more easily
Triggers a note, control command, pitch bend, or preset action by any input as desired
Can convert your PC-keyboard into an auxiliary midi-input controller and keyboard
Works especially well with 2-dimensional instruments like the Axis-49, Starrlabs instruments, Tenori-On, or Harpejj
Enables features that are normally considered “high-end” in keyboards, such as keyboard splitting (parts of a keyboard playing other instrumental sounds), and key and octave shifting at the touch of a key.
Extensible with a Max/MSP development system. For example, it can be made fully micro-tonal
Gives the ability to easily do things that used to be hard or slow to do in midi
provided executable runs on Windows or Mac platforms, with source code provided"

Here we are using the USB Cable to transmit MIDI information to energyXT so we can use any VST plugin to play sounds from Beat707. In this case we used Wusik Station to play a Drum Set."
