63 Buchla + MonoMachine = Sweet
YouTube Uploaded by 7thDanSound on Apr 15, 2011
I spy a MATRIXSYNTH magnet at the start. :)
"Controlling and processing the Buchla through my Elektron MonoMachine proved to be totally lovely! This is something I'll spend a lot of time doing in the future. The rhythm based delay and reverb inside the MM and the very dynamic timbres of the Buchla match very nicely.

MacBeth X-Series Touch Keyboard Demo 2
MacBeth X-Series Touch Keyboard Demo 2 from Ken MacBeth on Vimeo.
Part 1 here. Also see this earlier video.
"Here is the prototype touch keyboard that I have been working on. It is a 2 octave unit with pitch bend and glide. There is also an insertion for an external LFO/Source. This is both compulsive and great fun to play! I know there are quite a few touch products out ther in the Modular Synth market- but this keyboard is not designed to be a modulator- but a compact true analogue touch keyboard! It spits out 1V/Octave CV and of course Gate. I looked back- and this work I first attempted in 2002- 9 years ago! Brainwaves occured to me- and this has been a sucessful development. Planned for the final model will be a jack field at the top of the unit to interface with your favourite analogue gear!"
Microtonal Xenharmonic FMTS & FM Tutorials
You might remember the Xenharmonic FMTS synthesizer from this previous post. Tony from dubbism wrote in with a link to a tutorial for those that might be interested in exploring microtonal/xenharmonic music.
"Written with the FMTS in mind, it's an attempt to demystify microtonal/xenharmonic music and to challenge the idea that you need to be a scientist to understand the theory. There's a lot of groovy xenharmonic music and enough info and resources to get you started in 10 minutes.
For those who need to brush up on their knowledge of FM synthesis there's even a super easy FM tutorial over here."

MacBeth Touch Controller

"I was working in the lab late one night.........
....and I came up with this! It's a genuine analogue keyboard controller that spits out Gate and CV- two octave of fun! I guess chromatically scaled touch keys haven't been seen for some time now!........it's a new product a coming for all the modular synth folks!"
