'Notstandskomitee live in Toronto, Canada
YouTube Uploaded by herrsteiner on Nov 7, 2010
"Excerpt from the current set, live at The Garrison Toronto, the 11. October 2010. I performed that track there the first time. I created the software with Csound which runs loops from the studio and provide live synthesis for the solos. It runs on a Linux laptop.
The visuals in the background are actually the screen I see with the custom Csound gui and controller data dump. I am about to create visuals with Pure Data and Gem but there are some problems with the OSC communication between the two applications which I hope to resolve till the next gig on 11. November 2010 at Rote Flora Hamburg."

"Got the SubMix-7 working correctly today. and so far i'm really digging it! Pokey.Synth Module provides the kick and snare/HH tracks.. while the uLFO multi wave outs are fed into the submix as well as the hertz donut. woggle bug modulates the cutoff/res on the SEM20.. the rest os pretty obvious."

"The Wilson-MicroZone U648 keyboard was developed by Irv Wilson and Starr Labs as an alternate keyboard MIDI instrument. Multiple zones, layouts, layers, tunings, scales, and key/note arrangements are possible which allow for microtonal systems to be created and performed. Standard layout has octaves running horizontally, 6 ranks of 48 hex keys. An incredibly fun yet expressive way to come up with new chord progressions, composition ideas, and performance techniques. www.starrlabs.com"

Alesis Andromeda A6 Analog Synthesizer
via this auction
"It’s hard to adequately describe the good features of the Andro because there are so many. Off the top of my head:
Oscillator soft-sync, which I’ve only ever seen before on an SH-5, opens up new harmonic territory. Often quite random this can be inspirational.
Sub-oscillators tightly thicken up the two main osc, and it’s possible to get very rich oscillator sounds and thick detune before even using effects or the unison mode, which can be set from 2-16 voices.
