Tellun Industries TLN-712 Doomsday Machine

via this auction

Assembled by Free State FX

"The TLN-712 is a massive waveshaper that sounds unlike anything I (and probably you too) have heard before. The module contains (1)Multi-Phase Waveform Animator, (1)Pulse Width Multiplier, and (4)LFO's. In my opinion, the name "Doomsday Machine" makes is seem like this thing just destroys any audio that you run through it, and while it is certainly capabale of doing that, it is also capable of gentle movement that adds realism and intrigue to patches.

* There is a small surface scratch (not through the paint) above the third LFO's "OFFSET" Pot. The scratch is very light and only visible at a certain angle.

Assembled with:
(2) Audio Inputs + Auxillary Input
External Rate and Depth Inputs with Attenuators
Tri, Saw and Step Outputs
(4) PWM Outputs
(4) Internal LFOs with Offset, External Modulation, Rate, and Depth Controls
External Modulation Input Jack for each LFO
Triangle LFO Output Jack for each LFO
Sine Wave LFO Output Jack for each LFO
Switchcraft Jacks
Military Grade RG-174 Coax Cable Used on Audio Signals
Polyester Film Capacitors
Metal Film Resistors
Double Plated PCB with Soldermask
MOTM Power Connector
Runs on +/- 15 Volts
Hand Signed and Numbered

Here is some additional information about the TLN-712 from the Tellun Industries Website.

Catgirl Synth CGS49 - Twin CMOS Multimode Filter

via this auction

Assembled by Free State FX
"Catgirl Synth CGS49 Twin CMOS Multimode Filter with Distortion Module. The Twin CMOS Filter is two fully independent multimode (LPF, HPF, Notch, BP) filters based upon the famous Wasp VCF. I modified the "Spread CV" Knob so that the spread function can be used without an external control voltage (turning the knob clockwise sends voltage to the inverted input of Filter A and the non-inverted input of Filter B). Juergen Haible's Distortion circuit is inserted at the Output of each filter. Filter A's Output is normalled to Filter B's Output so you can get the outputs of both filters without the use of a mixer. Get two great filters for the price of one!

Assembled with:

CD4069UBEE4's in the Distortion Circuit
(2) Audio Inputs (1 per channel)
(2) Freqency CV Inputs with 2 Inverter Swtiches (1 per channel)
(2) Outputs (Filter A is normalled to Filter B's Output)
(1) Spread CV Input
(2) Filter Frequency Knobs (1 per channel)
(2) Resonance Knobs (1 per channel)
(2) Distortion Knobs (1 per channel)
(2) Frequency CV Knobs (1 per channel)
(2) FIlter Mode Selection Switches (1 per channel)
CV Spread Knob
Switchcraft Jacks
Military Grade RG-174 Coax Cable Used on Audio Signals
Polyester Film Capacitors
Metal Film Resistors
Double Plated PCB with Soldermask
MOTM Power Connector
Runs on +/- 15 Volts
Hand Signed and Numbered"

Included with the keyboard is the SQX-10 sequencer expander cartridge (installed), an additional sound cartridge (pictured), the original owners manua

DX5 playing "Warm Leatherette" (The Normal)

YouTube Uploaded by DX5 on Aug 9, 2011

"Covering an experimental track from late 70's originally by The Normal (Daniel Miller) that also was the first "Mute Records" release.
Recorded at the very first take (without rehearsing)

If you didn't know the song, it can sound very repetitive, but once you listen to it several times you will enjoy it. Be sure to check Daniel's original one too.

Gear:
Upper: Emu EMAX II HD (with Kurzweil and Roland JP8000 samples)
Mid: Roland JP8000
Backtrack recorded in Pro Tools featuring JP8000 and Simmons SDS 8 sounds)

Composed by The Normal (Daniel Miller)
Performed here by DX5 (Jose Maria Bara)"

Ander - Live Performance - Grundton @ Hive - Zürich 6.8.2011

YouTube Uploaded by modul8tor on Aug 9, 2011

"The perfomance of Ander opened my eyes - again. Since the beginning of my audio controllerism, I wanted to touch every parameter of my music live.

Ander does just that, plus more: He builds his custom light controllers, see here: http://ander.fm

Here is what he says: "I designed and constructed this MIDI-Controller myself, based on the ucapps.de hardware platform. I use it for live techno performances with Ableton Live. It's not for sale."

-- 1. Mixer
-- 2. Fx Swooshes mit touch sensitive pads
-- 3. Chromatic Recording"

Correction on Upcoming Dave Vosh Show

In the last post I noted Ohio as the location. That's actually the street. The upcoming show in November will be in St. Louis.
