iWavestation v1.2 Wired and Wireless CoreMIDI iPad Editor Now Available

"Apple has released iWavestation v1.2 our Wired and Wireless CoreMIDI iPad Editor for Korg Wavestation keyboard / EX / AD / SR.
iWavestation v1.2 offers:
• All PATCH parameters
• Automatically enables the Wave C, B or D parameters based on the Wave Structure parameter values (1, 2 or 4 Oscillators)
• Automatically disables the Wave C, B or D parameters based on the Wave Structure parameter values (1, 2 or 4 Oscillators)
4-Controls per Parameter:
• Slider: full range parameter value adjustment for a ‘coarse’ workflow
• + button: precise +1 parameter value adjustment for a ‘fine’ workflow
• - button: precise -1 parameter value adjustment for a ‘fine’ workflow
• Parameter default value button: pressing the parameter value label / button sets this parameter to a default value for a faster workflow (ex: Wave = Saw; Filter cutoff frequency = wide open; etc...)
Parameter Name and Value:
• Name (ex: Wave): as displayed on the Wavestation LCD
• Value (ex: Saw): as displayed on the Wavestation LCD, dynamically changes when you use one of the 4 controls (slider, + button, - button, parameter default value button)"

PNW SYNTHFEST 2011

The Pacific Northwest Synthfest will be held on October 29 at Shoreline Community College near Seattle Washington. Click on the image for the full size shot. Details will be updated on the MMTA (Mostly Modular Trade Association) website here. Save the date!
Note this replaces the PNW Synth Gathering of previous years. If you attended that event you know it is a pretty casual affair. Bring your gear and share with like-minded individuals. There will be three rooms this time around. See the flyer for details.
