"Our ninth winner of the Modular Pic of the Week contest goes to Nina Richards for her untitled Doepfer suitcase shot.   Nina is half of a music/photography partnership with Zoë Blade, who submitted the photo. "Nina and I have featured our music and photos in various indie films, the latest being the documentary Warren Ellis: Captured Ghosts, about the comic book author. It's nice to have this opportunity to combine our two passions!"

"This is a pretty rare analog rhythm box from Italy (CRB Elettronica). It came out 1973. It has 12 free combinable rhythm patterns. VOLUME and TEMPO controls.

The bassdrum and snare sound very good! The snare is more realistic than those of other rhythm boxes of that time."
