I have had some requests for doing more music on the pile of Casio toy/entry level keyboard that I have. So you could say that they are back by popular demand!

The song I am playing was a big hit for Robin Gibb in the early 1980's just after Bee Gees had broken up. So the music is actually just from the right time considering that the 1980's was the decade where the cheap but reasonably good digital keyboards started to emerge.

The instruments I am playing are CT-636, SA-1, SA-20, SA-10, CT-380, and MT-240 although you could argue that I am not really "playing" the MT-240 since I only use it for the rhythm :-)"

"This is a General MIDI (GM) file (creator unknown, so unable to credit) of the theme song to the original "Space Battleship Yamato" (aka in the USA as "Star Blazers") played through a Roland JV-1080 synth module (boringly pictured) set to GM mode. No additional instruments or external processing added.

I recently got the JV-1080 and found some old MIDI files to play through it in GM mode for the fun of it and just thought I'd share some of the better ones for synth gearheads and anyone else interested (like a few friends who were big "Star Blazers" fans)."

"Well here's a short experiment with the last micromac prototype before production. I'm playing the mac in a pseudo polyphonic way- each Oscillator has it's own CV in- so I've taken a Kenton Pro4 and put it into a 3 note poly mode- the result is good! Excuse the shabby playing- but it demonstrates the possibilities quite well! This technique can be used with both the 3U Eurorack version or the Desktop version. This is quite unique- There's no monophonic desktop analogue synth that's capable of thi!"
