Arp Axxe MK2 SN 23210492

via this auction

"Much sought-after powerful monophonic analogue synthesizer. This example is in perfect working order having just been professionally serviced by synth tech' James Walker.

He has replaced the sockets, key bushes and trimmers, dismantled cleaned and lubricated the sliders and overhauled the power supply. He has also calibrated the Axxe and tested it for electrical safety so you can rest assured that everything works faultlessly and smoothly.

Cosmetically the Axxe is in beautiful condition with just a few hardly-noticeable blemishes on the main panel and some small scuffs on the leather end-cheeks (see pics)."

Tied Notes From Q960

YouTube Uploaded by davidryle on Mar 6, 2012

"Using a Q960, Q961 & Q963 module. Also a Q128 Switch to set up tied notes from the step sequencer.
The use of the Q963WF Width Feature Cable is not used here. This will allow for 100% tied notes across all steps. With the Q128 Switch and the other 960 modules the note on-time can be controlled.
A TC Electronics D-Two delay and Lexicon MX200 delay are used for effects."

"Dub Response FX. Housed inside a dummy house alarm. Thanks to a work colleague for letting me have this :-)

I used a driving toy for the sounds.
1/4inch jack output
on/off switch
green & blue LEDs
8 momentary buttons for each sound
pitch up/down (also produces a great bass tone when right down)
Two green momentary buttons for instant fast or slow on the sound FX
switchable rotary switch with 8 points to loop each sound

i put it through a simple delay towards the end of the video."

THE CLAUDE CONTROLLER

THE CLAUDE CONTROLLER VID.mp4

"This is my latest (and greatest) invention. It is a very sophisticated MIDI controller, allowing the player to articulate many parts of the sound - filters, envelopes.effects etc simultaneously using your left hand and feet. The right hand plays a keyboard with my patented 'Vibe Bar' for imparting vibrato & pitch bend.
I think it's going to be the future of the synthesiser controller!

It consists of 36 wheels and 2 joysticks.......with a pedalboard - 2 peddles and 4 switches..very playable, very cool.
The MIDI circuit is Livid Instruments MIDI Brain.

I like to think of a synthesiser more like an acoustic instrument - rather than an instrument containing 1000 different sounds, you have 1 sound with 1000 articulate-able variations.

What do you think?????........."

CV Scribbler plays splats

YouTube Uploaded by RichyHo on Mar 6, 2012

"CV Scribbler translates drawn 'splats' into control voltages which when fed out through a USB digital to analog converter (DAC) can drive a modular voltage controlled synthesizer. In this case a Cylonix Cyclebox (v2) VCO through a QMMG and out through the effects rack. The first CV (x axis on screen) controls pitch of the VCO (and wavetable position and wavefolding) whilst the second CV (each new dot triggers a gate) triggers an envelope generator (Maths) controlling the VCA and VCF."
