String Melody II Synth Demo 2 Hohner Logan
YouTube Uploaded by gstormelectro on Mar 18, 2012
"http://gstormelectronica.blogspot.com/
This is a follow-up video of the Hohner String Melody II vintage string machine. Since my previous demo the stringer transformer wiring has been converted North American power, had an bad NPN amplifier transistor replaced, and power supply re-built. Strangely it functioned in the previous video anyway!
This video shows how you can layer the different octaves together with my favorite phaser (EHX Stereo Polyphase) and delay effects (Boss RE-20 Space Echo) to conjure that lush and densely gratifying vintage stringer sound.
I am butchering chops from of my favorite influences: New Order - Thieves Like Us. My playing is horrendous today, I'm not used to playing lead on the left hand and backing chords on the right. Anyway, enjoy!"

"Recorded live to Audiobox Presonus into logic....I used space design to give it some reverb and a limiter on the master channel. Im trying to get the levels right but this beast just keeps suprising me with the layers of sound...I love you mono
I really need to get a better convertor it's not doing the mini justice.....but still it pushes a lot of air."

The 'mac is back!

The 'mac is back! by macbeth synthesizers
"This track features the two MacBeth micromac prototypes that I designed- This synth is in in production and shall be released soon!
The track itself is heavilly organ based- I use a Korg CX-3 (original 80's model), an Ensoniq ASR-10 Organ sample and strangely enough- a Roland SH-32 playing a very grunge like organ. I'm also using a pretty grimey drum sample coming from the ASR-10. The micromacs are all the synth parts! Reverberation is coming froma very econimical 90's ART LTX proccessor!
This was fun to do so I hope you enjoy!"

4MS Pedals Atoner Eurorack module_2 (Calibration tests)
YouTube Uploaded by DJjondent on Mar 18, 2012
"4 tests (without external audio input)
1,Test of the VCO with 2 external CV inputs.... from the bindubba1&3 sequencers
The CV inputs can be adjusted with the two upper right dials (attenuators).
The Position knob (top left) generates a CV that mixes with the external CV.
The mix of the two CV inputs plus the Position knob is outputted on the CV out jack.
2.Basic VCO ... self triggered.(triggered by the internal CV). Great bass drum sounds
36 secs... The top left dial adjusts the frequency. The next down (tone) and last is volume.
3. Tone adjustment
4. test using one external Cv input mixed with internal cv
*** the Atoner is fun when external audio is inputted. Maybe in another video ??? ******
Many thanks to Matt from Rhythm Active for supplying the Atoner.
