Magic Echo Music MEM PALette v2 Semi-Modular Synthezier

via MEM

"The functions are mostly identical to the original PALette, the synth we love to make.

The changes in V2 are realized through the notable improvements in circuit board design and manufacturing.

We are proud of the improvements, as all PCB mounted hardware are quality parts and the build is durable and reliable for touring. We added internal compensation for room temperature, so that the voltage controlled oscillators are in tune wherever you are.

PALette V2 uses matched transistors so that you get improved tracking with external 1v/octave CV keyboards, and we moved the patch panel to the front, making an accessible interface with 1/4″ cables.

Lastly and importantly, we maintained the original sound design of the PALette that we are passionate about!

(Have you heard some of our demos from V1? They are here on Soundcloud.)

Dimensions:

Panel, 16″ wide x 9″ high; Height, 3.5″

You can now pre-order above and be the first to receive a PALette V2 when they become available. Please allow until late May as we complete the final stages of manufacture and processing of your order. If you have any questions before you move on any further, feel free to contact MEM and let us answer your questions!"

"*Brand New/Unopened* (Except to take photos for this Ebay listing, of course):

Signal Arts Tetra Maps Sequencer - Desktop Tabletop Version

The Sequencer is brand new & in it's original box. Auction comes with Sequencer, Operation Manuals, & original Signal Arts power adapter.
It was purchased new & never used and has been in storage ever since. I did remove it from it's box to be able to take photographs for this Ebay listing.

The Tetra "Midi Analog Performance Sequencer" (Tetra MAPS) is an extremely versatile and intuitive sequencer. This thing is truly bad ass & capable of many cool tricks and features! This version is the desktop version, which I don't believe Signal Arts produces any longer.

The Tetra MAPS gives you infinite virtual tracks, modulations and multiple, real-time versions of each sequence, polyphonic sequencing, as well as four channels of CV output and computer network Open Sound Control. It has an Ethernet port for device networking Ethernet communications using Open Sound Control (OSC). You can control the Tetra MAPS and send real-time data to OSC enabled applica-tions such as iPad TouchOSC, MAX/MSP, Lemur and more. You can also network together multiple Tetra MAPS sequencers using OSC messages.

It has analog voice control with Full-featured four channel MIDI to Control Voltage conversion (MCV) with authentic mono synth emulation with eight finger note buffer. It also has Low/High/Last note priority as well as Volts/Octave or Volts/Hertz output scaling.

Dynamic sequence triggering moves beyond the traditional step sequencer Concurrent triggering of each bank of eight sequences, with multiple virtual sequence iterations. Multiple sequence trigger sources e.g. encoder knobs, external MIDI, Open Sound Control. Multiple modes of triggering. Sequence steps can overlap each other, able to create polyphony with one sequence.

Real time flexibility moves beyond a MIDI sequencer with Real time sequence track control: volume/mute, remote modulation, track patch change, meta linking, meta triggering, record. Sequence step modes: note/scale, detune, velocity, controller, step duration, note duration, slew rate.

Other features:
24,000 note memory. Analog and MIDI sync."

Synth spotting via @FoxHuntingMusic: "Doepfer modulars, a Polysix and a Juno-60"
Before sending a music post request in, remember to read the guidelines. There is a bar for synth spotting. This one meets it. It great to see modulars and classic analogs being promoted in videos that might reach a wider audience.

David Hillel Wilson Note Spotted in Micromoog

I thought this was pretty interesting. The Analog Lab took in this Micromoog for service. When they opened it up they found this service note from the late Dave Hillel Wilson of the New England Synthesizer Museum. Dave passed away in August of 2010.

Update: one more. I was going through foniks YouTube videos to see which on Vimeo I already posted here. It looks like the following did not previously go up. The description also identifies some of the modules in the system.
