"Eventide Studio is located in Hertfordshire and is the personal studio of new Age musician, Kevin Kendle. For me, it was a real pleasure to meet Kevin and photograph his studio as I consider him to be probably the best New Age artist in the U.K. at this time. His Eventide Studio is a place of calm and it's easy to see how he is able to create the excellent music that he does.

Kevin creates evocative soundscapes which he layers with sounds of nature, recorded near his home in the Hertfordshire countryside. Kevin has been playing music since the age of eight, producing music for theatre and production companies including the BBC. His music is used in broadcasts around the world and the Eventide Music series of albums have been featured on BBC Radio in the UK.

"The Doepfer MAUSI (MIDI-Analog / SYNC Interface) was released in 1995 (around the same time as the A-100 system) and was a MIDI-to-CV and MIDI-to-SYNC interface to control analog vintage synthesizers, bass lines and/or drum machines via MIDI.

It was a small, half 19-inch sized grey box, and until a few weeks ago, i never realized why the Doepfer MAUSI looked so familiar to me.
An email from Dieter Doepfer confirmed that not only on the outside, but also internally this module is for 95% the same as the A-190 MIDI-to-CV/Gate/Sync Interface..."

"This is an example video for the ArdCore Output Expander. It receives a clock signal, and creates eight random gates out of the output expander. This shows how the output expander exposes the 8-bit analog output - one bit at a time. Thus, any ArdCore sketch will produce interesting outputs from the expander. NOTE: this ArdCore is equipped with the optional switch on the A3, but it is unused in this sketch."
