"Playing a funky slap bass on a Korg Monotribe electro beat. Recorded directly from a soundcraft mixer. The sounds are matching good together, i think. Next i will try a more complex arrangement :)"

NIME 2012 - FSP class "Soft Circuitry and Synthesizers" from lara grant on Vimeo.

This is a video of one of our workshop participants making a din with their microsynth, and a couple of the soft, felted, conductive sensors we had everyone make. These sensors connect to the synth hardware for controlling the frequency of the pitch and also for jumping the signal around the breadboard for creating feedback loops and signal modulations.

"...and I did also sneak a Yamaha PSS-12 keyboard and Roland JX-8P synthesizer into the arrangement.

When I heard this song the first time back 1981 my imidiate thoughts were "WHAT?!?!? Is this supposed to be ABBA?" It was so far away from what I had heard before and I really didn't like it.
I still think it is a weird song but as I grew older I began to like things that were a little weird. And since somebody commented that it was about time to post another ABBA song I decided to play this one."

TNR-iを自前の音ばっかりで鳴らしたらテノリオンっぽくなるか実験

YouTube Published on Jun 4, 2012 by nakanosyun

AVR Synth - Elby Designs - Demo Videos

YouTube Published on Jun 4, 2012 by DJjondent
Update: Two vids added to the end of the playlist. Check back later in case more come in. You can check the count at the bottom of the video, currently at 6.

"just tweaking this new synth
...the AVRSYN from Elby designs.... trying to find its sweet spots.

"The AVRSYN is a monophonic "virtual analog" synth based
on the Atmel AT90S8535 microcontroller. It was originally designed by Jarek Ziembicki.
His aim was to check to see if a simple micro-processing chip could be used for sound synthesis.
Paul Maddox later adapted this design design using a
ATMEGA16 instead as the AT90S8535 is no longer in production.

I think they succeeded.

The AVR consists of
two DCO's, a DCF, and a DCA. There is also an LFO and an AR/ASR envelope generator.

All sounds are from the AVR.
Thanks to Blake C for the tweaking.

Thanks to Matt from RhythmActive for the AVRSYNTH
