Beyond the Wall ( Xils-Labs Oxiom Demo)

Beyond the Wall ( Xils-Labs Oxiom Demo) by SYNTHDemo
"Single synth demo using the beta of Oxiom from Xils-Labs. 24 tracks of Oxiom, drums and vocals generated separately.

I'm very impressed with the synth, the GUI is a pleasure to use and feels fun to operate, the filters sound great - you can hear a few in the track particularly the formant. The sync sound is particularly organic and the chorus compares well to my Juno 60. Modulation routings are very easy to use and I liked the default routings for 2 of the LFOs to destinations you'd generally route them anyway. All in all a well thought out synth for a pretty amazing intro price if you pre-order. Grab a copy of the demo here: http://www.xils-lab.com/products/Oxium.html"

"What happens when a ’90s analog synth meets an ’80s tape recorder? We sampled a famous Analogue Bass Synth to tape using a new old stock cassette, and boxed it into a Kontakt Instrument. The original synth produced fat basses and sharp leads, but now the raw tape sounds and unstable pitch add perfect elements for “tron” like sounds. Each waveform (Sawtooth, Square, Pulse 5%) was sampled chromatically from C0 to C7 and each sample is more then 6 seconds long. In the custom Performance View a Saturation and Limiter Input Gain are added to the original synth’s parameters.

Specifications
2 Oscillators (Saw, Square, Pulse 5%)
12-24dB/oct filter
1 LFO (Random, Saw, Triangle) for Pitch and Cutoff
2 Envelopes
24 Factory Presets
24 User Presets (save function within the Kontakt GUI)
255 Samples (44.1Khz / 24Bit)
Size: 200 MB installed
Custom performance view"

"This is the famous Triadex Muse, regarded as the first digital sequencer /synthesizer. You can find numerous interesting writeups on the Internet. In a nutshell, the sequencer is unique in its approach leading to long, patterns that are often serendipitous, a useful aid to composition.

This unit is fully functional, completely cleaned, inside and out. the sliders have been cleaned and lubricated. The front panel is in excellent condition, you may note a small ding in the photos. All the colored sequencer lights work too as it steps though the sequences (fun to watch too)

The wood cabinet is in good condition, no major issues, a little warping on the bottom piece, a few minor scratches on the wood that disappear with fresh furniture polish. this is over 40 years old but a great piece to use, or simply add to your collection.

I have bought and sold vintage synths for over 15 years, so I always err on the side of too much packing, so it will get to you without damage."

"Just a demo of this beast. Lots of glitches and distortion with a super straight oldshool sound."
