Ninstrument Synthboy+ Now Available

Ninstrument wrote in to let us know that the Synthboy+ Kickstarter project posted here back in June was a success!

"We opened the webstore to the public today. We only have a few items available, so I thought I would let the die hard fans at matrixsynth know first. Here is the link. Every penny in profit goes right back into product development. Attached pics are of the very rare and hard to find White Gameboy. We made a very special Synthboy+ (We call it the Unicorn) to mark the occasion.

Thank you for all of your support."

Brian Biggs' Eurorack Modular

via wire to the ear where you'll find the full write-up.

"Brian is a Children’s Book Illustrator, has a very large Pitbull/Greyhound dog named Cyrus and has a nice Eurorack Modular system. I’ve been thinking about which “sampler” module to get. I was looking at the ADDAC Systems Wav player, Make Noise Phonogene or The Harvestman Tyme Sefari. I noticed Brian had both a Tyme Sefari 2 and Phonogene so I basically asked him if he was interested in some show and tell. I wasn’t expecting a proper invite but that’s what I got! As you can see by the photos Brian has a pretty nice set up..."

Custom Union Jack Korg M1

"For sale is an absolutely pristine custom Korg M1 which is a unique and stunning example of the famous keyboard.
This is a keyboard that I have customised to produce something would stand out on any stage or studio, if you are looking for something special for your band or would purely like something individual then this M1 could be what you are looking for.
The keyboard comes with a printed manual, reference mat, flight case, power cable, a cd containing thousands of extra sounds which I have collected and created over the years, an instruction video to help you with the more advanced sections of the keyboard and a printed start up guide.

I have restored many Korg M1 keyboards and take great pride in returning these keyboards to the best possible condition that the keyboard can be. The keyboard has taken many hours to return it to almost new condition and has been thoroughly cleaned inside and out to remove all dust grim that builds up under the keys and in the audio jacks etc. Even keyboards that have only had home use suffer from a build up of dust inside the keys so you can be assured that this is as clean as it gets.

I have fitted a new internal battery which generally needs replacing every 5 years, fitted a completely new set of micro switches and buttons which tend to wear out over time, installed a new joystick, tested the audio outputs and greased the keys so this keyboard is back to it's best! I have also added the original demo songs into the sequencer which gives you a good idea of what this keyboard is able to do.
If you would like to hear what the M1 can do I have added a recording of the demo songs to my website which you can view here."
