Doepfer Dark Energy I (4x) stacked with MIDI Thru

Published on Jan 8, 2013 creativegallerysynth·20 videos

"This is a video I recently found, dated from a year ago. Not proud of it. Never published, because it is rather boring or even terrible. But as for the many questions about stacking Dark Energy's I will post this. No playing skills. It shows 4 stacked dark energy's. In this way you can play polyphonic. However, if every DE has it's own sound, and that sound is depending on which key is touched first, you'll never know which DE you will hear first.. So striking 4 the same keys more times after eachother will sound different by each strike. The fifth sound you hear comes from the WMD Synchrodyne which is connected to the cv output of DE1. The DE's are internally connected via MIDI thru (as you can see none of the DE's is CV connected). In that way the keyboard controls the DE's via MIDI, but every DE has its CV output, so you can connect other cv controlled devices to every DE....(even the Pitch Wheel or other MIDI commands send to filters for example) So instead of 4 sounds per chord you can add many other sounds per note of the chord. This is one of the many advantages of this marvellous semi-modular synthesizer. Soon I will show the MIDI stacked combination of 4x Dark Energy I and 2x Dark Energy II with 6x Doepfer A-111-5 (Modular version of Dark Energy I) connected to the CV output of each DE, so chords of 6 notes can be played with 2 voices per note...."

Maschine Meets Modular - A Lo-Fi Hip Hop Instrumental

Published on Jan 8, 2013 chisel316·44 videos

"Maschine Meets Modular in this grimey, lo-fi hip hop instrumental featuring the Intellijel Korgasmatron analog multi-mode filter. The faux-sample is the sound of the frequency modulated Korgasmatron self-oscillating low pass filter. No oscillators were used. The bass and drums are Maschine. Hope you enjoy it!

DSI Tempest and Cari-Lite Custom Case

"After playing a few gigs with my Tempest, my wife insisted I get a hardshell case, but I was reluctant to pull the trigger on a Pelican or otherwise suitable case. Instead, we were at a thrift shop in Philadelphia and came across a $9 suitcase that happened to be just about the right size. We spent a few hours cutting foam, spraying super 77 on fabric, hot gluing trim, and cutting up an old belt, and in the end, I came out with a pretty sweet case for my favorite beatbox.

The original leather handle was disintegrating with each lift, so I cut up an old Rage Against the Machine belt and barge glued a new handle together."

"Hello ! My name is Frederic Gerchambeau. I have made this movie and this music. The music has been made in one take using two Doepfer Dark Energy, a Doepfer waveshaper A-136 and Plogue Bidule. Enjoy !"

AND MY AXXE!
