"I wanted to see how well the Doepfer A119 would convert the audio out from my Machinedrum to a gate signal that I could use to trigger the Tiptop drum modules. Since it worked out rather good I thought it was a good idea to share my experience in this video.

It was a little tricky for me, as I've grown accustomed to using some form of MIDI and/or CV in, and this ancient beast can only be played live! Can you say, old school?! Note that any phase or flange effect comes from the Paraphonic's own fabulous Ensemble section."
