"This is a custom-made, fully functional, utterly unique, guitar. It's by New Voodoo Customs and is 1 of 3 steampunk models made in the series (all 3 have the typical New Voodoo skull on the headstock, only these have a copper plate, monocle and chain on them to denote they are part of the steampunk series) . The guitar itself is neck-thru not bolt on, and is otherwise real quality guitar. There are 6 switches-all work: phase for both pickups (coil tap), kill for Optical Theremin-type (aka Dr. Blankenstein Illumiringer) ring modulator (sensor is IN POCKETWATCH -when closed and open it is protected by glass and metal watch body),wet/dry for FX, bass boost (+3db) on/off (aka "Nitro Boost"), and standard 3-way pickup selector. FX control, tone, and gain knobs all there and working as well. Red LED indicates when Theremin sensor is triggered, Green light is functional but is a light only. Guitar looks INCREDIBLE, and is truly a work of art..."

via the seller: "VCF bender slider slightley bent (as pictured) Pitch changes when power button is pushed. You can google this common fault, and all it needs is a replacement power switch. I have included a spare power switch (pictured) that I bought. I never got round to fixing it as the issue never really bothered me."

Automated tape delay/reverse

"I adjusted a tape recorder in such a way its playing direction can be controlled from my Doepfer system, this combined with an extra tape recorder that both records and plays back enables delayed tape reversing in a live setting. Quite nice for doing some minimal techno thingies"

A seven second video via Oiver Chesler of wire to the ear. I thought it was pretty funny, so I went with it. Click through for more pics and the full write-up. The event was announced here and here. If you took any pics or video of the event as well, feel free to send it in.
