Surachai's "Embraced" Now Available

You might remember the Embraced Teaser video previously posted here. Surachai's release is now available in digital and vinyl.  On some of the gear pictured below:

"In this writing period I was fortunate enough to have a friend lend synths including the Fenix II/III, a massive Serge system, and a Buchla 200e. These illusive synths were used in addition to the ever expanding Eurorack system I possess. The sessions with these systems helped shape the way the album was arranged by basing the structure around certain patches. A rundown of the Eurorack manufacturers that I used extensively: 4ms, Cwejman, Doepfer, Harvestman, Intellijel, Make Noise, Malekko, Schippman, Tip Top Audio, WMD."

You'll find extensive notes on the release including the process on TRASH_AUDIO here.

The Nord Lead 3 was the one Nord Lead to deviate from the original's synth engine.  It's engine was new and built from the ground up.  The Nord Lead 2, Nord Wave and new Nord Lead 4 engines are based on the original.  The 3 is said to have a more lush sound while the others are more dry and aggressive sounding.   The original Nord Modular sounds like the original Nord Lead as well.  I  believe the G2 might mix the two, but I forget.  If anyone knows, feel free to comment.  Regardless the 3 is in essence a completely different synth than the other Leads vs. being an update to an existing synth engine. It's interesting when you think about it.
