Over 40 controllable parameters to create a wide range of 8 bit chip-tune sounds. All knobs midi controllable!

-Multimode Filter
includes Type, Cutoff, Resonance and customizable Cutoff Envelope

-Flexible Modulation
Hand draw up to 4 graphs and assign them to the synth's parameters to add movement and expression to your sound

-Wavetable Editor
The 16 step wavetable editor is a great tool to set up sound effects and arpeggiated melodies.
You can sequence notes and waveform changes either as one shot or in a loop and vary the speed

-Help Mode
Every feature is explained via the help button to get you up and running with SidPad regardless of your synthesizer experience :)

Mitch takes a look at the Thor polyphonic synthesizer app by Propellerhead. It's the same synth as found in their Reason DAW software - you can even load patches you created on this app into Thor in your Reason software.

After that, Mitch circles back to a product he's presented in the past, the Novation Launchkey. Mitch explains how to set up the camera connection kit so that your iPad can provide power to the Launchkey keyboard.

KORG Volca Keys : Testing FLUX function ( experimental )

"Testing Volca keys FLUX function.
When turned off the FLUX, Volca records up to 16 steps quantized notes.
When turned on the FLUX, such limitation is gone.
Even if we make slow tempo setting we can record phrase with faster tempo.
I have no idea about note number limitation ( I wonder how many notes can we record in a loop ?) or time resolution when turned on the FLUX.
This FLUX function works fine with "UNISON" mode.
It also works with Poly mode of course but it is little bit difficult to manage."

I blieve the Waldorf Rocket shares the same filter as the Waldorf Pulse. The two synths share a very distinct sound/character to my ears.

"Just a rought performance composed earlier on Ableton 9. I'm using the Tetra for the bass and Monotribe for support. The control is done over the Akai APC40 and some parameters are controlled via AKAI LPD8.

Came up a little distorted though... Enjoy!"
