"An announcement: We've had a long, hard think about it, and we've decided that we are going to make 'I Dream Of Wires: Hardcore Edition' DVDs and BluRays available to purchase again. Please give us about a week, and then you'll find a shiny new "BUY" button on our website. More details forthcoming.

This decision was reached largely due to an overwhelming demand. It seems that a 4-hour documentary about modular synthesizers isn't as niche as we thought! Comparatively, interest in the theatrical cut seems to be minimal, and so we've decided to put those plans on hold, and instead concentrate on IDOW as we feel it was meant to be: 4 hours, HARDCORE!

We know that there are some pre-order customers who will be disappointed that their "exclusive" edition is no longer so special. We understand, and apologize if you feel mislead. We hope you can take pride in knowing that this film wouldn't exist if it wasn't for pre-orders from people like you. (Note that the rack shown in the first picture is not included, and there are no rack ears. It is just the two panels in the boxes)

Project description
The Machinewerks CS X51 was born out of the sheer frustration of not being able to find the Control Surface we wanted.

Everything was either too big, too heavy or didn’t have the controls we needed, often they would have a lot of things that nobody wanted. It seemed to us that the market place is flooded with control surfaces that set out to be everything to everyone and have ended up being no use to anyone!

The design of many existing Controllers also leaves us cold. Cheap lumps of plastic designed to keep the costs down, with no look or feel to them at all.

Time For A Change
We decided from the start to design something beautiful, something pure, something people would want to use and own.

With 30 years experience of playing live and in the studio we know what's needed for a working artist/DJ; This is why we’ve designed the Machinewerks CS X51.

This may go against the grain for electronic equipment, but we believe there is a lot of talent in the UK. We are obsessed by quality and we believe the UK offers this.
